I mean, it could be meant as his reaction to a non-romanced Ryder telling him 'don't do this,' since that means that he digs in his heels and says he'll go with the idea anyway... But, since when he's romanced by Ryder, he's 100% accepting, saying if it's not right for Ryder, it's not right for him, then it becomes a reaction to Jill. |

I kind of liked that the Archive specified it was Jill's baby. Leaves the door open to Scott and Gil have children on their own terms later.

Yeah, that's my big complaint about Gil having a baby in first place, that nothing about how his storyline progresses gives the impression that having a kid is something that he wants, just something he's going along with because his supposed best friend has been poking and prodding him on the subject and, because Gil is an impulsive person, he decides 'why not?' Which is actually one of the worst reasons to have a kid, because it's a commitment, not a whim.
I also complain a lot about how non-sensical it is that Jill's been defrosted in the first place, considering the Initiative couldn't bring everyone out of cryo and had no outposts - meaning no resources, no ability to take care of the people already there - when the game starts... I swear, I hate how Gil is such an afterthought, he deserves so much better.

Gil's story was written to appease the people who vocally complained that gay people being picked for the mission didn't make sense, cause in their worldview reproducing like rabbits is the only way to successfully form a colony-ignoring the fact that even with our current medical advances-that traditional reproduction is not the only route to assure a population's growth. Sigh. I'm so sick of gay content being written for everyone but us.

At least the artwork is very nice, I wish the DA:I Keep had it as well. |

At least the artwork is very nice, I wish the DA:I Keep had it as well. To unlock the MEA things, you will have to let the Keep "see" your save. That is, you need to be online, then load into your save game and walk around for a minute. The DA Keep works the same way for DAI saves. (I know this because I play DAI offline and have to upload when I'm done.) If you don't want to do that, you can show spoilers by clicking on the cog wheel on the right. I like that they have different aesthetics. Besides, DAI gets a whole bunch of tarot card art that we can look at. |

I like the art differences. Inquisition had a tarot card motif happening through the whole game, and so the Keep utilized that as well. And it works there, since the series is a fantasy style, having the more stylized tiles fits. Meanwhile, Mass Effect's foundation is that it's using our world as a baseline, so it makes sense for these tiles to look more realistic.
