Renly Trevelyan! -He's a Ranger! I don't care that Inquisition believes this class doesn't exist because it totally does. -His animal companion is a wolf. He found her wounded by a hunter's trap. He managed to get her out and treat her wounds, this is also how he got his scars. Later that night while he was camping she appeared again, cautious at first as she just watched him. She continued to follow him and over time they forged an unbreakable bond. Her name is Nana II. -He holds no love for nobility. He left home as soon as he was old enough to travel. He loved being outdoors and in nature. He's wandered all through Thedas seeking adventure and new and exciting opportunities. Because of this he isn't close to his family at all, the only exception being his sister. They write to each other often and she loves hearing of his travels. He only attended the Divine Conclave at her insistence. -He really, really hates the world. He has no time for those people and their petty squabbles. He's a loner, preferring to spend his time in the wilderness with his only companion. -Despite all this he is Andrastian and takes on the role of being her Herald, but still hates everyone. -He is my first angry OC and I love him. -His eventual best friend is Sera, he gets along well with her because of her association with Red Jenny. -He had a huge crush on Blackwall (he is human after all... ) and was totally heartbroken when he found out Blackwall wasn't into men. Despite this, they become good friends and get into all kinds of shenanigans with Sera. -He respects Vivienne as he sees she truly cares for him and he admires her devotion to helping the mages. Although he doesn't care for the mage/Templar war as he hates people, he supports her cause. -He is friendly with Cassandra but holds no love for Varric, Bull, and Dorian.
-Cullen is his husband. IT IS TOTALLY CANON I DON'T CARE WHAT BIOWARE SAYS.

So, since I decided to play DAO and DA2 again, I came to share my new Warden and Hawke. First, Mage Tabris: sorry about the clipping (the game was actually pretty receptive to the combination...well, with the exception of Broken Circle that thought I did Circle origin instead of City Elf, but almost every other conversation recognised both the right origin and class) and now Hawke, the mage with a greatsword :

Alright fam, I need your opinions. I'm doing an alt playthrough of the trilogy. I normally go for dwarf and qunari males (gay, naturally). With dwarf females as my one female playthrough when possible. I did a dwarf commoner ranged rogue for DA:O; since she did the ultimate sacrifice, I went with a surface dwarf Orlesian female two-handed warrior as my Warden Commander in DA:A; and I just finished an aggressive dual wield rogue Hawke. My past DA:I playthroughs were (canon) two-handed male qunari warrior; (alt 1) dual wield male dwarf rogue; and (alt 2) ranged female dwarf rogue. I was planning on doing a mage this go-around in DA:I. And was thinking of going with an elf, since I've never played an elf before. But the CC just didn't allow me to create any character that works for me. So I'm now leaning towards qunari. But I've already done a qunari male. So now I'm debating doing a female qunari mage. But I'm torn. So help me out: Tic Adaar - will skew a bit stoic and reluctant; will side with the mages, but has more of a "whatever is necessary but still morally acceptable" approach; will romance Bull (big boy on big boy action <eyebrow wiggle>) Pros: Sexy sexy qunari on qunari action; I prefer playing gay guys when I can OR Hissera Adaar - will skew empathetic and emotional; a true "do-gooder" type; will also side with the mages, fully supporting their cause; She'll either romance Sera or Josephine since my female Cadash went for Blackwall. Pros: Never played a lady qunari before; haven't done any of the f/f romances yet Thoughts? Which one is better?

@daveliam bro u know EXACTLY what i'm gonna say, try out that sweet sweet Seramance on a lovely lady mage who could benchpress a Boeing 😍 It is SO GOOD and definitely worth experiencing at least once imo. Sera x qunari mage has just the right unf and drama, auhhhh I love my fictional wife! OTOH how could i deny you the chance to have to giant bara beefcake dudes rolling around in dragon guts together?? That's a recipe for mayhem and Bull is wonderful and deserves to be happy.

OTOH how could i deny you the chance to have to giant bara beefcake dudes rolling around in dragon guts together?? That's a recipe for mayhem and Bull is wonderful and deserves to be happy. So let me ask this -- I think I'm resigned to another trilogy playthrough in the near future because I really want to try a Lady Aeducan with Alistair run through and I want to try to enjoy DA2 and I can only do that with a sarcastic male mage with Anders. So that will give me the ability to do both of these characters. Because I really want to try them both. I thoroughly enjoyed doing ranged rogue (it was my favorite combat style in DA:I), so I'll turn one of them into a ranged rogue. I can easily see Bull and a mage being interesting because of the Qun. What about Sera? Would it be different if I did a ranged rogue qunari lady with Sera? Or should I hold that one out for the mage? Also -- it's KILLING me that my qunari lady can't have long hair (just that one small bun style). The woman on the tarot card is a long haired tall goddess and I can't recreate that and it hurts my feelings. LOL.

I can easily see Bull and a mage being interesting because of the Qun. What about Sera? Would it be different if I did a ranged rogue qunari lady with Sera? Or should I hold that one out for the mage? Sera only actually has a few comments specific to a mage Inquisitor (at Haven, in a banter with Dorian, and when commenting on your specialization) - I like them for flavor, but they're definitely not required to make the romance interesting, and I think a ranged rogue with Sera is just fine so long as you don't mind two archers in the party. edit: Though just to add, one of the reasons I like Sera with a mage so much is because a Vashoth mage is an outcast among outcasts, much like Sera. Not Qunari enough, not human enough, too much of a dangerous thing for even the average Qun-defecting Tal-Vashoth to accept. Sera's also an outcast who is too human for elves, but her race marks her as different from the humans... it's just a nice dynamic. But it's one that can easily be found if you make your Hissera a warrior or rogue as well, because she still doesn't exactly fit in among the tiny humans and elves or rigid Qunari. Dunno if it helps, but I base my qunari on these amazing sliders and give her the mohawk available in the vanilla game and she looks quite fetching.

The usual Lavellan Also, the game looks a bit different on xbox one x than it used to on xbox one and not in a good way. You can't see it on screencaps but during the gameplay the change is there... Graphics are not as sharp as they used to be and contrast seems to be different as well. They should release some kind of patch to make graphics a bit better for PS4PRO and XBONEX. If CDPR could've done it with TW2, BW could do it with DAI Not complaining though, the game is still awesome.

I rerolled my Qunari lady as a ranged rogue and gave her a little redesign. I like her but partway through the hinterlands, I’m already realizing I’m not going to finish her when there are two likeable m/m romances on their way. So I guess I’m going to go with my mage instead. But I DO really like my lady Qunari! She’s built like a brick shit house and I love her in the light Qunari armor! But for some reason, I’m not excited for my male Qunari mage either. Ho hum. Holiday boredom, I suppose. ETA: I’m gonna do a quick reroll on him since I didn’t actually play him yet. I’ve got an idea to make him scarred and weary (and instead of being hornless, he’ll have broken horns from abuse) from being untrusted by the others in the merc group since he was the mage. And he’ll start the game as stoic, quiet, and guarded but will eventually open up to become a righteous hero for the oppressed. Okay, now I’m excited for him again.

Decided to make YET ANOTHER mage Lavellan for my current playthrough. (Number 7 apparently, number 6 is my canon though) Lavellans keep yanking me from my Adaar warrior lady. I had to rush to the Black emporium though to fix her eye make up, jeesh. (and her chin a bit) It always looks good in the CC, then you come out into the light of day in Thedas and it's a disaster. I guess everything looks better in the fade.

Just showing how much I have "matured" over the years, I have created a qunari named Peen and dressed him thusly for a quick screenshot. Probably put something with better stats on soon...but dem abs!
