Spicyshimmy!! I used to be friends with her... we met on Livejournal and were in a mutual follow on tumblr for a long time. I don't know what she's up to these days, but she was a great writer and person and super invested in mHawke/Anders and mShep/Kaidan. I used to be friends with her too. She's a lovely person and I used to draw fanart for her sometimes. She drew something for me on tegaki once, iirc it was amusingly nsfw. Oddly I don't remember ever reading any of her mShep/Kaidan stuff. Mostly just her DA fics. IIRC a lot of her Shenko stuff was AU where Shep and Kaidan were teens. |

That might have been why I didn't read it. The odd occasional story about young love is okay - there's a comic on smackjeeves that I like about two teens because it's just dorky and sweet- but for the most part it's not really my jam. |

Since you brought it up, I just started reading. First one up had Kaidan losing a poker game to Vega. Amusing AND sexy all around. I don't read "modern" or "teen" AU. I like the stories to be more or less divergent from the timeline we have, even though I read one (unfinished) that has Kaidan as Subject Zero. |
