Also, this may not be relevant to Dragons, but I keep thinking about that scene where Maester Cressen tries to poison Melisandre and she drinks the wine and says, "The night is dark and full of terrors, but the fire burns them all away." And Quaithe says, "Dragons are fire made flesh." So would poison even work on a Dragon? I dunno. I don't want Drogon to die. If he dies from poison I'm gonna kick Cersei and Qyburn and Bronn in the nuts!  One of the dragons has gotta go, and it might as well be Drogon because it would be the most emotional i suppose. As long as there's two, they won't go extinct. You know because they're sexless and shit and can always reproduce. Damn, it's always incest with Targaeyns and things around them huh?  Sure is. |

So thoughts on this...last week spoilers Do you think the scorpion bolt was poisoned? It would be dumb of Cersei not have have ordered it I doubt it the purpose of the scorpion was to put the Dragons down immediately.
He seems fine in the episode 5 preview too. |

The Vale wasn't taken without bloodshed though, they sunk a third of the Targaryen fleet and Visenya responded by burning theirs entirely. When she let the kid ride with her on Vhagar it was because she was there to accept their surrender. Plenty of members of House Velaryon rode Targaryen dragons. They came with the Targaryens from Valyria and settled on an island near Dragonstone. Pretty much every dragonrider has had Valryian blood, even the girl who tamed one with sheep was 'dragonseed'. |

I enjoyed the episode more and more as it got further away from...her, and it, lol. Just saying.

Thoughts: Opening scene was beautiful, Drogon is indeed gorgeous. I know the show has a lot of nudity but I've never seen a Dickon fire.  Loved that Dany referred to herself as the breaker of chains and refused to put men in them. Jon and Drogon was surprisingly cute, he looked so terrified. Jorah and Gendry back is nice as well. It was nice to see Jon and Dany agree that war is terrible and you have to do terrible things. Dany x Jon is happening and I'm surprisingly down with it. Gilly's reveal is stupid. Lyanna Stark, the girl who refused to marry Robert because he was unfaithful, ran off with a married man with two kids. Rhaegar ran off with a child, hid from a war he started, and willingly left Elia Martell and their two children with his father who he knew was a lunatic. They're both dicks! Arya v Sansa seems unnecessary but I legit couldn't be less interested. It was funny though to see how quickly the northern lords lost faith in Jon lmao. Wight hunt incoming and I'm hyped. |
