I went back to it earlier this year, gave up playing a month or two again and debating whether to let my sub slide or not.

I want to save for a new tablet so I could do with saving what I can, but I will lose my virtual house and it's the only house I'll ever be able to afford, so I'm so torn lol |

So, anyone else getting ready for the new expansion?
I'm trying to get as much of the beast tribe quests done as possible ready for the new ones, that and a million other things I don't have time for.
All I can say though is SWIMMING!

All I can say though is SWIMMING!And I'm like "nooooooooooooo" It's annoying in wow and it's annoying in GW2...what chance is there it won't be annoying in ffxiv. It will probably overused too, because new gimmick  I do look forward to additional resource systems and red mage/samurai. Edit: I think I will be returning to the game on tuesday...although it will be with completely new character. |

I'm all set for early access, hopefully the servers don't melt again. They probably will. My server always used to be one of the quieter ones, no idea if it still is but I'm hoping getting online won't mean spending half the day in a player queue. |

The queues are probably going to be hell, especially with more people running dps classes most likely because of Red Mage and Samurai. Later content is probably going to be longer queues for a while, ARR content is going to be...possibly dying of old age in the meantime. I wish I had more confidence to run my DK in dungeons and trails, the tank insta queues are a nice bonus. Alas, I main bard so dps queues are my lot in life. People will still be running roulette though so with any luck it won't be too horrendous. Just don't be like me and try to get a run for WoD at 3 in the morning. Sometimes i make questionable decisions  |

Though my last few runs with randoms was less than successful lol |

I for one can't wait to run the new dungeons with people learning samurai and red mage + everyone else learning their new skills. Favorite part of the expansion. Relearning that 70 rotation is gonna be fun as well.
