Wasn't there some offhand quote from an article that your choice of romance options would depend on what sex you picked for your player-character? Five companions, right? JUST PURELY CHUCKING AN EXAMPLE: say for instance they decided it was two girls, three guys; one girl is heterosexual, one girl and one guy is bisexual, and the rest are unromanceable- so straight guys have two options, and every other monosexual orientation has one. Or am I having a bad dream and just imagined that all? Ok...but literally all we know is that not all 5 are romanceable and it's not all bi. It's entirely possible for everyone to get a romance (with 4 romances) and for them to focus on each companion with the same amount of care. The knowledge we have does not = definite imbalance right now. |

What we know is that not all companions are romanceable, if there're five companions at least one of them is unromanceable. We know nothing yet. Maybe they'll go for DAO route with two bi two straight, or they'll go for two straight (one man one woman) and lesbian companion and gay companion. Taking into account that there will be five companions and five factions, I bet every companion is gonna be an agent/representative of their faction. It is confirmed already that the native woman of the trailer is a companion.
I understand being cynical because we always are screwed in this subject but this is all we know for now.
About the orc game it awesome but it's still work in progress, the animations, the textures and the character creator are quite nice

I have every intention of being picky as fuck about queer options going forward, but I can do that just as easily when the game comes out and I've got a list of LIs sitting in front of me. It kinda seems like every time a studio mentions gay options while the game's still in development, it turns into a six month freakout about whether or not we're gonna get left out in the cold. Can't say that seems like the healthiest place to be, mentally. |
