Bored, so yet more pointless outfit modding. I should probably create "Vom's whimsical and largely pointless outfit modding topic". But it seems to be my fallback when I'm tired of my usual games and "argh" about the idea of figuring out something new. Today's wardrobe: The main inspiration was looking for a jacket and remembering that there was a rather nice sheepskin one on a BoS outfit, so I stole it and recoloured it black-ish except for the worn highlights. It works quite well although it is quite broad-shouldered and clips horribly with any armour add-ons, which I guess is why it's not a normally available outfit in game. The other bits are my woolly jumper, which I made from one of the Nuka World tops: it was a really skanky-looking ripped, long-sleeved tee so I tidied up the mesh a bit and created a new texture and normalmap so it looked more like "granny's jumper" she knits for you when you're about six years old. In numerous colours, too! Leg-warmers are original and use the same texture. Jeans are from the rather good if vertex-heavy JC Jeans mod; boots are from the leather armour (? I think) in FO3, which I've used as the basis for very numerous and varied footwear, everything from heavy-looking gothic biker boots with too many straps to spike-heeled booties. In this case they're based on something I had from Fly London a few years back but which didn't fit very well. Other accessories are earrings and nose stud which I did myself (it is possible to get them to conform to most face/head shapes, it's just a pain in the arse) and Azar's holstered weapons.

And various other messing about with outfits. Obviously my disappointment with Sims 4 made me look for my Sims fix elsewhere! I'm obviously feeling quite pleased with my woolly jumper even though it wasn't the most involved mod: And at the instigation of a pink-obsessed friend who's also a Fallout fangirl, avert your eyes: LBD, made my cropping a '50s dress and recolouring it and stuff.

Thanks. The pink ones were supposed to be quite vulgar but I did have that particular character proudly wearing too much pink through her play-through! Sometimes I think my in-game fashions are as hit-and-miss as they are IRL but I get so bored seeing the same rather shabby-looking outfits after hundreds of hours, so even my creations that are questionable end up on the list of random outfits that can be worn by settlers and others.

Nice Sole Survivor's, everyone! I'm in a bit of a game slump right now and I haven't been able to decide which game to revisit. I landed on FO4. I never actually finished it in my first playthrough (I got right up to the point where you have to pick a faction and then stopped). So I think it's worth a second playthrough now that there are a bunch of mods/creations for the XBox One version. I'm going to hold off on mods because I want to unlock achievements still. But I did buy all of the dog creations, which allows me to find and adopt a variety of dogs throughout the wastelands. Because? Priorities, that's why! Here's my new sole survivor: Cooper. He's going to be a charismatic smarty-pants with high endurance. And there is a 0% chance that he'll be romancing anyone other than Danse (in my first playthrough, I did both Danse and MacCready and Danse is my BOY). Although I might want to check out Porter, since he wasn't an option the first time I played.

Dusted off my FO4 original PC, lots and lots of updates since I last played. Downloaded all the workshop dlcs and the story dlcs that I've yet to play, Far Harbour and Nuka World. Should keep me busy for a while! Codsworth can now say my PC's name! Also updated Rachel's appearance, just to see what else was added. Created my first bro sole survivor, Adam. Not sure who he'll romance but I do know he'll side with the BOS.

I think you know who my favourite is Yes, his Bellybutton Pfff, well there would be no bellybutton without Mike first of course, so i appreciate him as a whole (Also the big shadow that's always casted on it is gone here, so it doesn't look like a black hole for once lol)

This is Ripley, my second playthrough that I didn't touch for a couple of years but has been picking up steam again in the past few weeks. I originally planned either a BoS or Institute run, but I'm pretty sure she'll end the game with the Railroad. She also convinced DiMA to turn himself in and the Children of Atom to blow themselves up. Badass pose. Hancock, main companion and romance.

Ripley update, after her ending it was time for a new look. I also started a new Strength/Luck/melee run, so meet Starling. Sometimes her hair is blue.
