Honestly, Vetra's voice is so hot lol. Every time I've played and didn't romance Vetra I felt like switching up XD But my next PT will be me and Vetra again  Me everytime she calls my Ryder "Sara": 
It's funny though, at first when I heard her in the trailer I was like "mhe", but after meeting her in game and actually talking to her, the voice just "fits" her character so well. It sounds so pleasing. |

Her friendship arc is really nice also. Problem of Vetra friendship arc is that you aren't romancing her, and that's difficult  |

The only sidequests you should do are loyalty missions, and finding all the Pathfinders. You can skip every other one with no real effect on the story. Maybe still activate vaults if you want. You'll get through it much faster, and get to the actual romance content you seem to be interested in faster. |

There is still the problem of I can't play more than 10 minutes before I want to quit again :/ I managed to do a New game+ in insanity in around 8 hours for the achiev, you can actually speed run the game just for the romance content pretty easily, which is nice at least. The game gets really boring through so ye I understand your pain xD |
