Does anyone know what eye color Vetra has? I thought it's more grey/green-ish, but in a lot of fanart she's been drawn with yellow eyes  I need to know for science.I've noticed that too.  From my pt I remember them being green.  edit: Seems like they are a mix and become more yellow with more light?  is this fanart research?  I always assumed that they were yellow. They look yellow in pics! |

I think other than her, my fav color palette has probably been Javik and Aria. Something about Vetra's design is just oddly satisfying. Maybe it's the leather... God I love her so much. |

Well to be fair, Angara in general kind of have that vibe in my opinion. Very open-minded, very open in they're emotions and the species comes in rainbow (skin) colour range. Bioware, what were we supposed to think?  --- Vetra's design definitely seems her own personal style, as does Drack's armour in my opinion. |

Can we talk about how Vetra has the best character color palette ever tho? The retro-rainbow with a large range of saturation is soooo good. I love her color scheme. It seems to tie back to the purple. The blue/red in her armor. The complementary colors of yellow/green in her eyes and the yellow visor. I think when they designed Vetra it was intentional to have her look somewhat "plain" by turian standards. Tan color carapace, no fringe... we aren't even sure if her markings are "true markings" because of her back story. I think they did this because they wanted her personality to shine above all else, and to have those underlying insecurities. Like when you say you like her on the mountain top and she says it seems so unlikely. It feels somewhat like she is saying it isn't just because you are a different species. She comes off as smug in some of the flirts but when you really start trying to initiate the relationship it seems she doesn't know what to think.
Also because she always feels like a tool to be used by others.
At the same time turian beauty standards don't mean much to us. They gave her a beautiful smexy voice, dat height, the nice color scheme, and her wonderful badass persona (+ giving caretaker attitude). So yep I just really like her non typical turian design. |

That actually reminded me that I used to headcanon that Garrus was ugly by turian standards because his design was very... round, comparative to other turians. Much shorter face, smaller nose, short mandibles, thicker body and large forehead gave him the turian equivalent of a baby face. I hope if we get a MEA2 they make more diverse alien designs again besides just color swaps, though I appreciate having women actually existing for other species besides humans/asari so you win some you lose some. I think Vetra's palette is supposed to make us feel like she is a scavenger, a mishmash of not only color but saturation makes her look a bit like an old toy with sun damage and chipped paint. Which ties into the ugly-old-sexy-lamp thing, actually lol. She's a character that makes you feel like a lot of love and thought went into her. |

Vetra was my first MEA Romance. And I regret nothing. She is so a strong woman but still damn cute. + her banters with Drack are golden. Your screenshots of Vetra are awesome dino!  She was mine first MEA Romance as well. I really liked it and her character altogether. She definitely is one of the most interesting squad mates in Mass Effect. |

Vetra was my first MEA Romance. And I regret nothing. She is so a strong woman but still damn cute. + her banters with Drack are golden. Your screenshots of Vetra are awesome dino!
