I usually just play with random people because I don't know anyone else who plays the game. I don't really mind that much, apart from the occasional times jerks yell at people, that's why I've never tried out ranked I imagine its 100% times worse  |

You sound like a dream tbh  Do you only play comp with randos then? I have a friend who gets super negative and starts blaming everyone but themself when they start losing, and another who isn't really that good at the game at all, so it seems clever not to play comp with some ppl you know. Then again, I can't tell them about that, I don't want to hurt feelings.I am quite corporeal! but yup only with randos, which makes me sad because I really do not care about losing. Sometimes people do that, blame everyone even when playing with randos but that just makes me laugh even more lel That's such a good attitude though, I wish more people were like that. It can be annoying if you get freaking stomped, yeah sure. Sometimes though the match is super challening and it feels as if both teams are kind of at the same skill level, so it feels super challening but still fair - even if you lose. I love those games so much, where overtime seems to go on forever and one of the teams wins just barely. Had a few like matches like that, where at the end everybody went to the chat and said "very good game, this was a bunch of fun", even though they lost and it felt so peaceful and wholsome. |

Sorry you went through that :/ . I avoid voice chat all together even on competitive and then block receiving messages from strangers on PSN, that way you don't receive any toxic things. I would often get "switch?" messages lol. Like no, Symmetra is queen on temple of anubis defense, you crazy, I ain't switching. if your on console I would say give it a try without the voice chat, I got up to diamond without it, its not really that essential to voice chat, though it would be nice if people were not ridiculous. I also try not to take it too seriously cuz it can be discouraging sometimes when one loses on it, I just set my goal to focus on grinding the golden weapon.Ahahah same, I play a lot of comp because I really do not care about rank. I sometimes ask if someone can switch to another healer or tank, it is not really a problem if they dont but normally on silver/bronze you lose without the 2-2-2. I can play almost any role just do not like Junkrat and Roadhog that much. Also I do not play with people I know comp, only quickplay and arcade. It does not affect me if we loose and I laugh a lot, most are not like that. Same! My friends got really discouraged and stopped playing comp. so now I just play randos solo. They only play to do placements and thats it now lol. I do tell them to just roll with it and don't take it seriously anymore though, just do your best and have fun. |

The super challenging matches are the best for sure, sometimes it is a freaking confusing especially when it is cap the point but you are right it gives people a more positive feeling, being stomp is no fun. That is why I think the ranking sometimes is not the best when pairing teams up, if it is randon it should at least have the same skill level for a more fun experience. I can play anything but mostly I go for what the team needs at the moments. In comp I tend to go, healer or tank. That being Rein, Mercy, Ana, Lucio, Winston... etc

It had its fun moments, and the game is really pretty good (except, of course, all the stuff to complain about, like 2cp, specific buggy characters, horrific map design on some of the earlier stages, the sometimes-frustrating approach they have to lore) but the community can really suck if you're a lady and you get on the mic. (It can also suck without having anything to do with you being a lady. And it can not suck. I just got tired of trying to find matches that fit into the last category.) Quickplay isn't fun for me, and comp play basically requires mic use, so you see the dilemma. Now I just live vicariously through streamers like Stermie and Seagull. |

Lately I been doing a lot of Mercy as well in comp. the hardest part of her is deciding wether its right to press revive or not lol. I'm one that mostly waits to see what others pick, I main at least one of each category so I can adapt. Though in defense maps I try to pick Symmetra first. So it would be Sym, Soldier, Mercy, rein or orisa and special ocassions Hanzo. I see Sym more as a defense character than support personally. I used to play a lot Ana but the nerf on her damage has really made it hard to use her. I was more of an offensive Ana to support on pushes with offense and heals. Now being on the distance is just not as fun  . |

I don't play Comp I've been playing a lot of supporting characters recently though and I really like Lucio, Ana and Symmetra. I especially love Symmetra on Numbani or Hanamura defense! Characters I play the most though would be Hanzo, Widowmaker, Mei and Pharah. |

I really would love it if Genji was revealed to be gay. I think it fits his lore quite nicely.
1. He was part of a gang that didn't approve of what he did in his free time. Perhaps he was frequenting gay clubs? His lore says he was a playboy but never specifies the gender of the people he "played" with.
2. Hanzo "kills" him because the Shimada Clan pressured him to do it, and the guilt of that act ruins Hanzo. Maybe Hanzo was a bit homophobic before but had a change of heart?
3. Genji is spared by Overwatch, but he is full of hate and anger. Maybe he struggled with some vanity issues. He used to be hot, now he thinks he is a monster.
4. Zenyatta teaches him to love himself. What gay man can't relate to that struggle of learning to accept who you are?
5. Genji feels like an outcast everywhere he goes except for Nepal. Nepal is considered to be the best country in Asia in terms of LGBTQ acceptance. If it were just about being a cyborg, it wouldn't explain why he still feels an outcast in Numbani.

Tomorrow is the eventt!!! I completed all the nexus stuff of Heroes of the Storm. Playing Zarya in there got pretty fun but I still find it pretty boring game lmao. But I got 10 horrible overwatch free loot boxes that at least got me currency for the upcoming event. Sitting at 4,000 currency. So far I might insta buy Soldier's skin but will wait to see what more there is to it since there might be a Hanzo skin too. Or wait a week to see what I get on the arcade boxes at least. What's your plans to tackle the event? L2 Sentinel that's quite the interesting analysis on Genji, didn't think of it that way but it makes sense actually. |
