Big fan of this show. It's not as good as Lost Girl but it is a decent substitute. (As in a super natural show, driven by female relationships and swimming in gay)
Season 1 took a while to get going so I'm liking the increased pace of season 2

LG is still far superior imo, but I'm really loving Wynonna. And I have a crush on all three ladies there, damn. I just hope it'll be renewed for Season 3, cause if not... Nah, I don't even wanna think about it.

Nothing annoys me more than when a show doesn't get an ending because they get cancelled 1/2 way through a season or after a season ends on a cliff hanger.

God, ep 7 laid it on thick with the foreshadowing. Someone please tell the WE writing team that subtlety is key....
Then again, I kind of figured this was the case the moment Bobo whispered "you're not an Earp." Like, how'd the fuck he know unless a revenant is her Dad? Doesn't make sense otherwise.

I forget about that. Now that I think about it, it was never hinted who Waverly dad is right? I still need to watch ep.7 but subtlety was never their strong suit more like humor and badass slow motions lel

Okay, just watched ep 8. I was right. I knew it. Yup kinda obvious at this point. Also cannot wait for the interaction now that she knows knows. Also if Waverly is half demon peaceamker and all those wards really do not work on her. Kinda curious about her powers too.

It's possible that half-revenants don't really have powers per se, though maybe it's what helped her have resistance to the demon possession.

Caught up with episode 9 today Did not see Rosita being a Revenant Does it bother anyone else that there has been no discussion of abortion even though Wynonna is clearly not ready to be a mother?
Obviously it is too late now, but early on before the whole being asleep for a month thing.
T.V. shows are always having unwanted pregnancies when an actress is pregnant but there is never a discussion about abortion, the character doesn't have to go through with it, since they are pregnant cos the actress is but I think the discussion is important, to help normalise abortion.

watched ep 10.
And while I enjoyed it, that ending just makes me feel like they did not have enough story to fill out the season and are dragging things out.

Im hoping once this stupid disappearing thing resolves that at the very least Waverly & Haught can be more stable for a while.

I think it's actually pretty cool that shows recently (Jessica Jones, Wynonna Earp, etc) have been explored lesbian infidelity that isn't "woman cheats on her wife with a man" or "woman cheats on her husband with a woman."
Obviously, IRL, I do not condone infidelity in any shape or form, but I think it's great that fiction has been portraying it recently. As for what it means for Wayhaught, I don't know. I hope they can work through it.

I hope they can work through it. I liked that aspect of Jessica Jones, in any other show Hogarth would be a man (and indeed in the comics she was) but her being a woman, cheating on her wife with another woman adds an extra dimension to the character for me because it's not the same tired old trope. I think it´ll work out fine, I mean Nicole did keep her wife secret from Waverly, they just need the space to talk. Spoilers for EP 11. They are also clearly very much in love. Even in the alternative Universe they found each other.
I love that bit were Waverly is on the phone to her fiance and ends it with ´also I think I might be gay, ok bye´ while looking at Nicole.
Which was also the first acknowledgement of any kind of sexuality for Waverly. I had been assuming she was bisexual cos she had been with men previously but maybe not.
Honestly I could do without any more relationship drama for the moment, Bobo is obviously Waverly´s Dad so when she finally finds that out she is going to need stability to get through it. Unless of course the obvious nature of it is a fake out, which Id be kinda pissed by TBH

Thoughts on the season finale in spoiler tags. I hate that it fell into the trope of sidelining the baby. I get that the Ghost River triangle is dangerous and a baby makes fighting bad guys more dangerous, but it is so common in a show like this for them to have the magical pregnancy because the actress is pregnant and then quickly write the baby off the show.
I´d actually be really interesting in how the Erp family raises a kid in the middle of fighting a horror demon.
The death of the wives was cool but kinda anticlimactic, particularly since one seemed to get cool new powers that we never got to see. It felt like they wanted to get their death over with so they could focus on the real climax of the episode, Wynonna giving birth.
It did set season 3 up nicely, we know who the big bad is and what the goal of the season will be and there is a path to ending the show well if they don´t get a season 4.
Also loved how Jeremy called Wavery & Nicole, Wayhaught. It is a nice nod to fans and this show is really good about connecting with fans.
Introducing Momma Erp should hopefully create the drama that the show runners like, so they can let Wayhought relax for a bit.
