One more minor gripe since I'm griping 😜 There is a serious lack of body hair on these guys. Only two of them have more than a light sprinkling of chest hair. Boo! One more reason that Farron is clearly the best LI! 😉 Who would have thought that I'd be a fan of the long haired elf? Cognitive dissonance is a go! Amen to the body hair. That's why I preferred Amal's early design  That might change though, he's still finalising the designs. |

Well, less body hair might have something to do with consistency across different poses, since we know he does more than the average VN.

On a related note, here's his version of Hawke's chest hair  Just his hair. I wasn't expecting body hair to get its own layer Does seem like a lot of work. Still, most of them will be covered most of the time. |

So has there been any news (like a release date)? Not as far as I know. He's steadily working on it. I don't know (maybe someone else does?) if he's working on this full-time, or part-time. I know that he started this near the end of his time in college/university, and continued on afterward, but don't know if he found a job after finishing school, or if the fundraising enabled him to work on the game full-time. |

I think he works full-time on the game but that's just my feeling. He said, he didn't improve with drawing during his college time, and now that he has more time, he gets better at it. And since he occasionally paints pictures that are not part of Eldet, I suppose that he doesn't have to do anything else besides Eldet, so that he therefore has enough time to paint other pictures as well. |

There's a trailer now! I know he's released snippets of music before this, but I've never listened to it as I want most of my play experience to be fresh; I must say that it's lovely. "Winter 2018" Hm... I'll just assume that means next winter, since this coming January is still winter 2018  . I'll be pleasantly surprised if not! |

Yeah, that is confusing. Winter is a bad release window since it could mean: Jan, Feb, early march, or next December v.v Surely it's not still a year away.

Also, I understood that, since he got so much more money from the Kickstarter than expected, he broadened the game with more LIs, and is also striving to have a whole range of Ls Gs Bs Ts and Qs as characters throughout (even though the LIs are majority cis men). One of his recent character reveals was a non-binary person (but appears male presenting), and is a LI. They're pretty cute, I think, and almost look like they could be our PC's older sibling. Truly, it does seem an ambitious undertaking for a solo project. |

Oh yes, I totally understand you and I feel the same way about it. I was so sure it would come out soon. But on the other hand, the game will probably get longer and bigger than expected. And if I get a really great game, I'd rather wait a little longer.  |

I only know a few boys love/yaoi and girls love/yuri visual novels (which can be great too, but it's not exactly the same thing). Those VN's are often very Japanese and the characters look and act like anime figures. That's not to everybody's taste. Other games with both gay and lesbian characters are for example Loren the Amazon Princess or Tales of Aravorn. But overall, there is hardly anything for the LGBTQIA community. : / |

Yeah....this game may never come out. He's going to work on it forever and still want to improve it here and there. eh...The story should be the focus, not the lighting and what position the character is sitting/standing-but Oh well. The game was a cool concept at least. (it will probably still come out, but seriously wouldn't be shocked if there was another delay)
