But so sick of open world games. Am conflicted. I love open world, when it's done right. DAI was closer to right than MEA, imo. I played the ever-loving heck out of Skyrim, and still love that game.

OH! I hope the pets part of the game makes it to the console version as dlc or something. I'm sort of excited that sims 4 is finally coming to ps4.

No the players will have to roleplay this with each other since there won't actually be real characters or companions. But Anthem will helpfully provide a quick startup guide to RPing your javelin. With the presets you've outlined. Do you have to yell 'ALL THE BANGING' in chat to get things going? and "who would want to push her off?!"

So I'm not going to get it because I don't have a system that would run it, but that looks amazing. Probably good I can't play it or it would be a huge time suck.

Corridors work just freakin fine!

Oh fuck, that Sims pets trailer has me on the verge of fucking tears. Cause you really want to play it, or because they didn't show an option to adopt pandas?

Was watching Sims 4 trailer and was like: ok, ok, ok, male couple getting married, ok, ok... wait WHAT?! Seriously? In the trailer? Did somebody put me into a time machine or is it 30 century already?

Kingdom Come Deliverance will be presented tomorrow, according to IGN. Another open-world RPG with a male PC. I wonder how that one's gonna be. I don't like to judge things too early, but, I'm soooooo tired of open-world rpgs. Especially ones where i can't at least choose the gender of the character. Open world games just take so long to complete. Honestly, I don't even complete them most of time. I think it took me over a year to complete the main story of the Witcher, and I still haven't done all of the dlc. And it's not just the traditional open world games that are getting tiresome. After starting Divinity Original Sin again, I'm reminded just how insanely long that game is, both because of the combat and the multiple maps that all have little secrets and puzzles and quests jammed into every corner. Which, is great, but time consuming. Even with Pillars of Eternity, I started, got about half way through, and then stopped for months before I went back. Mostly because traversing in that game is the slowest aspect. I really liked the map sizes in Tyranny. Not too big, not too small. But, then again, my one complaint about Tyranny is that it felt like not enough content, so maybe I just want something that is an impossible task for a game to complete. Small easily traversed maps with substantial content.

When it was first being made, one of the major staff members who is a gay man (I forgot his name and position), put in the ability to have same sex relationships and just didn't tell anybody. Lol.

I kickstarted this game and then regretted it later when I discovered the Devs were assholes. They claim they want to make the game as historically accurate as possible (and they seem to have the weapons & fighting down) but their historical recreation of the society of the time is historically dubious and very 'white man's' view of history. When this was pointed out to them, they came across as assholes and I've lost interest in the game. This does mean I have a PC code going if anyone wants it.
