Anybody else here a fan of these games? Looking forward to The Wolf Among Us, season 2 have to pick up season 3 of The Walking Dead, waiting for a new season of their GoT game and some more Tales from the Borderlands would be pretty swell too!  And I gotta get around to finishing Telltale's Batman, that was pretty neat. |

I love TellTale games! My sister too and she's the one who is buying them so  I have to finish GoT tho and waiting for season 3 of TWD, I love they are based on the comics instead of the shitty show  Jesus  also Bigby appreciation spam   |

My favourite Telltale's Tales from the Borderlands, which is not getting a season 2, which is a pity.
I haven't played Wolf Among Us. I've been reluctant to play it because I'm a fan of Fables (the comic it is based on) and I don't want to bring my experience of the characters into a game that might decide to develop them differently.
Bigby and Snow White's relationship in the comics is one of the most wonderful in the medium or any medium really.

I started the trial for TWD season 3 this morning, welp, I'll defo have to purchase the season pass now. Huh, my images borked, will try again later. My choice TWAU I'll have to re-play it again before the new season comes out. I was a tad excessive with some of my choices, lol. |

My emotionally trying journey with TWD season 3 continues... Episode 2 A few things, that Jesus guy is pretty damn cool and that's Garrus' VA, I'm sure? I was sorta surprised that so many opted to shoot Conrad, I hated doing that to Clem but, I couldn't have another potential group member's death to add to my long list. Fuck, I got his wife killed earlier, but, those guys were out for blood, it seemed inevitable anyway. At least I got some of theirs in the crossfire. And colour me shocked that David is still alive and a bit of a big cheese at that town. I don't trust these guys, large settlements like this have a track record of being shady, it's a glorified prison. I'm trying to keep the peace between Gaeb and Kate, offering support to Gaeb when possible, he needs a little guidance. His Dad is still a dick. Episode 3 And I may have been a bit excessive in one of my choices but damn, it was satisfying. David is still a dick but a dick with a conscience it seems. He had no idea his boss was ordering raids on other settlements. Even before this became known and he wanted me to play along, be nice to his superiors I... just couldn't. Fuck it, they wronged us and I'm not gonna go along with this charade. I demand mah justice! For going against David's original plan and for venting my spleen and openly questioning why his bosses are where they are I got kicked outta the settlement. Welp, Clem has no love for these people, and for good reason. Her backstory with Aj, damn, I love Clem, she fuckin tries her best. And to the small group of people who opted not to give AJ that medicine, I hope your game files become corrupted.
Conrad bit the dust, I kept the gun btw.
Yes, I bashed in Badger's skull, thought Tripp was gonna drag me away in the finish, overkill sure but satisfying and I'd do it again. The option to kill Max seemed wasteful tho, he obviously had mixed emotions about what he was involved in and if pressed he'd sing. So, I brought him in as proof of raids being ordered.
I don't want to leave Kate or Gaeb behind, I still don't fully trust David and I said the same to Clem but, that dick is still my brother and his plan seemed the better choice than just skipping town and hoping for the best on the road, again. If we can up-root the cancer that is in that community, we'd have a good chance of making it work here. So, that's my thoughts so far, enjoying it alot. Will begin episode 4 tomorrow. |

So...The Walking Dead's final season will be out in less than a month...I'm both very excited and very sad.
It feels like I just yesterday I stepped into the world as Lee for the first time...oh, how quickly time flies...
The Walking Dead game was the first time I had ever played a story-driven game that focused on the characters and their relationships. It was like nothing I had ever played before and I was so emotionally invested in it that I was in tears by the end of the first season.
I can't believe we are really at the end of Clemetine's story.
I'm going to play through the games again in preparation for the release of the first episode and I am looking forward to experiencing this emotional journey again.

Anyone else play the season of the Walking Dead yet?
No spoilers from me but it DOES look like they are setting up a situation where Clem (who’s the protagonist of this season again) is going to be able to have a live internet now that she’s a teenager. And it also looks like we might get to pick between a guy and girl!

Not sure which others to try though, so I'm just going to follow this thread closely and see what others recommend. The guardians one seemed fun enough from the demo I tried of it. But I like the Telltale concept, of movie with interactions, the plot is what gets intense, while the gameplay is more chill. A good change from "I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT BUT THIS DUNGEON IS TAKING FOREVER, or THIS BOSS IS OP WTF, I HAVE TO LEVEL UP" lol.

Awful news, I love their games, was looking forward to playing the new season of TWD but it's not worth buying now since they'll be shutting up shop soon. Also hearing how badly they treated their employees, ugh can't support this. Sad that The Game of Thrones season 2 game will never come to be, The Wolf Among Us 2, more Batman adventures and Tales from the Borderlands. I frickin thoroughly enjoyed all of those choose your adventure games, sad news for fans indeed.  |
