I'm at the meeting with Reyes now and I got the "close" positioned scene with him. I know there was concern whether that was changed. I don't know which choice made it so. I accepted his drink, bitched at the Outcast guard in front of the bar and took all the options with the recruiter for The Collective before meeting him, but didn't talk to anyone else in Kadara before meeting him.

Maybe I'm cynical, but the life goals makes me suspicious about it NOT being MEA related. ...Well, unless he's recording for Reyes and it's something awesome and/or different from the norm! ....Hmm. Or he's as much of a Reyes fanboy as we are LMAO. But yeah, we shouldn't get our hopes up .

I actually never noticed before that Reyes tells you where to find the Collective hideout. I just found it because someone in the BSN Reyes thread told me where to go. lol

I have Slone waiting in the cave because I dont want to deal with that moral decision yet lol I'm doing Eeladen now and trying to 100%ing the planet, I'm always a goodie hero so I dont like that stab in the back, but I like Reyes as ruler better, he even donates to that doctor helping the poor... I think Reyes's thread is not the better place to ask this XD

Nick, dude, is there even a choice there? Pick Reyes! but it's wrong I feel bad Sloane is a dictator, gangster, borderline psychopath. Do you really want Kadara to be ruled by her and not Reyes? You don't have to do anything, just watch her cause her own downfall.

You don't have to do anything, just watch her cause her own downfall. there have been some characters that got redeemed in the trilogy and they were as bad as her, maybe she will be redeemed in the sequel, who knows! Believe me, I dont like her at all, but what Reyes does gross me out and I'm glad I dont have to deal with that to keep him as boyfriend, and that's another thing, since he's a romance option it's like Bioware telling you that keeping Reyes is the right thing to do, but I dont know what to do yet! XD I think I'm going to complete every planet and leave this to the end, just in case if I dont like the outcomes in MEA2 or whatever sequel Bioware want to do

I still wish there would be a third Option.
Sloane is an asshole and Tyrann. Reyes lies to you and tbh I am sure we can't trust him.. bioware destroyed me.

The choices in MEA require little thought and it makes me sad.

Maintaining power by brute force, even if she believes that she's maintaining order, is one thing. Creating a drug to control the population is simply vile, there is no way to excuse it. That's the final straw for me. For everything else, at least Reyes truly believes that partnering with the Initiative is the best course, whereas Sloane is quite reluctant about it. BUT I do wish the scene played out differently. As it is, because SAM warns about the sniper, it relies on my character making the intentional choice to allow her to be killed. Regardless of my views on Sloane, my instinct in that scene would be to warn about the sniper, but I can't do that if I want Reyes to be in control. I have to headcanon around it, which I dislike. Heck, before the Jaal option, that put the m/m players in an even worse position, because their only other romance option is dependent on an unavoidable game choice.

This!!!! So much this!!! I mean I prefer Reyes as ruler like I said, why Sam cant keep his mouth shut! Slone is awful, but the Collective torture people iirc so it seems this is a choose the lesser evil kind of situation The odds are in favor of Reyes, thank you to both of you Sir Drell but I think I'm going to wait... a little more to decide I dont mind to replay this canon playthrough again if I dont like the outcomes in a sequel, I'm doing all the crappy side quests first so no problem there and I havent even met Jaal's family yet so it would be only good stuff to replay I don't romance Reyes ( Gil), but I completely agree. I remember how pissed I was when I found out that you have to let him killed Slone to keep him as boyfriend :S I'm glad for Jaal, but that doesnt fix this problem

He loves you for sparing someone, even though that person is really bad.

Look about the Sloane/Reyes decision, the choices we get are pretty bad. Out of those choices I 100% let Reyes do what he wants, but if we could do whatever we wanted to, I would of course spare Sloane when Reyes rises to power. I spare people at every opportunity in video games. So yeah, Sloane would totally be spared if I could've done that, aaand she would go straight into a jail cell. Justice must still be served, in the right way.

There probably will be other Mass Effect games at some point but I really, really doubt that any of them will be sequels to MEA. On the plus side, that also means that there's no chance of Sloane redeeming herself so you don't have to worry about killing her .

I killed her, still feel a little guilty, but Slone is dead I like DA's approach of different main characters for every game, but I hope we still can see the Ryder and the crew. DA's approach means new LIs without worries of being faithful or not

So, in this PT my Violet Ryder fell for Reyes but felt betrayed after the Charlatan reveal (she is going to romance Jaal ) but damn if that break up wasn't sad
Ryder: You're not the man I thought you were.
Reyes: I wanted to be
DAAAAAAAMN I feel bad.
