If this had been the official trailer... I think I would have played the game and come out feeling way more positively about it. I can't say I'd pick it up and play again, but I'd probably have very little to say negatively about it. Instead, I went in with a very negative attitude and feeling and that permeated my whole experience. |

Andromeda as it is atm is not welcoming me with open arms As a Mass Effect fan I hope for their sake that they redeem themselves in the eyes of gaymers and give them the game and the romance options they truly deserve, especially considering how loyal gaymers have been to BioWare. It pains me to imagine this beloved franchise shooting itself in the foot and turning to the dudebro dark side like this. And for the sake of gaymers who deserve to be treated like equal human beings, I want to see some real, genuine improvements. Yet my skepticism is high, and I don't truly believe anything will be done. At most I'm expecting improved animations and a few more emails from Reyes. Nothing more. I don't think they "get it." They didn't even "GET" that it was a big deal to release a trailer with Sara in it. And female fans far outweigh gay male fans. Yet even that demographic got shit all over. |
