I made it to act 2 finally-but haven't done much beyond talk to companions. Will get started properly with act 2 soon though.

I finally hit level 11 so I got the blood magic attack finally (the main one) so I'm using blood magic now. It's pretty funny since I picked options to shame Merril for dealing with demons...but um...I learned blood magic with a book or some junk it's fine....this is fine. It is fine! Nothing wrong with blood magic. Use wisely! (The first option with Merrill to me was similar to yours, because Ralph warned her to the danger, but later, he worked with her, when he saw, it was unnecessary, because of Merrill can use it properly. But Ralph uses demons – he's not that picky with tools.)

So I did a few significant quests. I did a Bitter Pill and got the awesome romance scene with Fenris. I always feel so sad with how he leaves Hawke though, but I am going to make Hawke stay faithful to him anyway. I completed the blackpowder courtsey quest so I could unlock most of the other companions quests. I did Ander's quest next. I was of course tempted to take the flirt options-but I did not (even the gift quest is over so I'm not able to romance him at this point so temptation is gone!) I also did the repetance quest for Sebastian. (I actually did it first cause I seem to always do that first thing in act 2). Still lots of act 2 left, but I have to take a break for now.

I think I'm almost half done with act 2 maybe...either way I have all the companions maxed out in friendship...even though it's a waste of time to friend max Sebastian-I did it anyway. lol! He's still going to abandon me though-cause Ander's is my friend and he's much better than Bastian. B-)

I completed Prime suspect and All that remains tonight. I didn't get as sad as I normally do. That's actually a good thing. I drowned my feels with the bone pit related quests (there's like 4 of them...and you'd miss the latter two unless you either just knew about them or frequently visited that area for some reason. I think that's an odd design choice, and I think the quest giver should have just kept giving you quests instead of requiring you to leave the area and come back! There's only a few quests left in act 2 I'll be glad to get to act 3!

I completed act 2, and the duel with the Arishock was as expected a lot of running around and throwing spells when I could. not pretty, but it gets the job done! I did Fenris' alone quest, and rekindled the romance with him and Hawke! I also slayed the high dragon so I could get the Champion armor that looks so much better than the dlc armor-even if it has worse stats-but fashion over function this one time! Up next is Isabella's quest when I start playing next time.

(I loved on Ralph, it was barbaric, but noble... just as Ralph himself... a medieval mage-knight) But I also changed to the Champion's armour. This is just ... traditional. And good looking yes. Do you have screenshots? I love Fenris' romance scene after the Alone.

I only bought the item packs on PS3 and used them only once before switching to PC! ...I've spent too much money on BioWare, haha. I'm using the modded champion armour, and it looks great! Being forced to be away from Dragon Age 2 for such a long time due to life problems made me lose a lot of interest in the game. I lost the motivation to keep going with it and have only been making progress very slowly since the middle of Act 2. Having to go through Leandra's death during this specific time didn't help. It's such a shame because I was really excited about getting back into it when I first started. I'm currently in the middle of Act 3 and have completed all companion quests and talks. I'm feeling a bit better about getting through the quests, but I don't feel like bothering with the minor things/inventory management. Although...this has brought some of the game's unfortunate problems to surface. I really, really don't like how they handled enemies in this game. It's getting pretty annoying going through wave after wave of enemies just appearing out of nowhere. The combat system is just fine and I love that the companions are so different...but those waves of enemies are tiring me out. Also...I apparently missed Mythal's Favor during Act 2 and it is now impossible to get it outside of shops...which never sell it! It's ridiculous because more often than not I actually need it. I'm being a bit too negative and I actually really do love the game...but I'm ready to move on. I'm still really excited for Mark Of The Assassin though and Dragon Age Redemption!

Andrew Mancer I totally get you on the enemy waves. They are quite annoying. I epecially dislike that they make them spawn around the corners of the map so you can't use area of effect spells to speed up the process. It makes the battles take far longer than they should. You can nuke the first group with awesome spells though at least...which feels really amazing. it's everything after that however that feels flat.

I'm making slow but steady progress on act 3. I think I shall completed all the quests save for the last before doing "legacy" and then beat the game and do "mark of the Assassin" in the post game. but we'll see. B-)

B-) I love to do the Mark of the Assassin right after the Act2 (After Orsino's scene), because Hawke's Champion already, famous enough, and I imagine what they do in the times between the Acts.

It also doesn't help that my party is full of rogues and a mage, haha. That reminds me, another thing that annoys me is enemy mages using that spell that pretty much instantly kills those in range and assassins using that backstab ability that is also usually an instant kill. I think doing Mark Of The Assassin last is a great way to end the game! Today I completed both the Nathaniel quest and the Zevran quest. Seeing them again just made me so nostalgic for Origins and Awakening. I miss that game so much and I would much rather be in that version of Thedas!!! Yesterday I also met my husband Alisatir! ....Of course I was referred to as a queen.

Guess that's even more reason to stick to the ps3 version of the game. I finally started Legacy and only have the last straw left in the main game.

It goes from referring to the Warden as a male in the beginning to suddenly female when it mentions the marriage with Alistair. I'm considering play the PS3 versions of these games next time so I can romance Zevran and Isabela. I'll never go back to consoles for Inuisition though. I need my Cullen gay romance!!! Hopefully we do get a gay KISA/Prince next time so we won't have to jump through all these hoops to get a happy ending!

So...I accidentally finished Dragon Age 2 tonight! I took a break from playing the game to watch Dragon Age Redemption...only to accidentally start the final part of the game after the small break! Redemption was as enjoyable as ever and I love seeing Dragon Age in a live-action setting. I still remember being pretty excited for it the first time and I'd honestly love to see something else like this again for the franchise! I've always loved the ending of Dragon Age 2. I can't properly describe how I felt watching it come together the first time (so many emotions!), but I felt so drawn into it and was so excited about seeing how it would all end! I just love how all of the companions come together for the final battles and that characters like Zevran, Samson, Nathaniel, and Cullen join in as well. When speaking with Aveline, it really felt like she was a true friend for Hawke, having been with him from the very beginning and going through so much with him. It was like a strong bond that couldn't be broken, and I can only dream of having a friend like Aveline myself someday. I killed Anders and I did feel a bit bad about it...but he was kind of annoying me after the blackmail and non-stop talk about mages. I'm not sure if anyone here watches it, but Pretty Little Liars used the same song Dragon Age 2 has as its ending theme for their first season finale. I remember being quite happy when I heard it playing because it was like two of my favorite things in the world coming together, haha. I'm probably going to play Legacy first tomorrow so I can get some use out of that DLC weapon in Mark Of The Assassin and end Dragon Age 2 on a high note. But really, all of this just reminds me of why I love the game so much, and I'm already feeling nostalgic thinking back on the long journey Gryffen had with his friends. This just leaves me so excited for Inquisition and the gay Cullen romance!!!! Unfortunately that will be about two months away as I play through Pillars Of Eternity 2 and Fallout 4 first...but I am looking forward to it. If the kisa is straight again in DA4-I don't know if I can support BioWare again. I think it would just be evil to do that again at this point. Yeah, they have no reason for not including one next time. There would just be no excuse for that character type being straight for four games across a decade of waiting! That's just cruel. ...And if they keep giving that "it has to make sense excuse"...well...

I KISSED FELICIA DAY!!! I regret nothing, haha! That's actually the first time I've been able to kiss her because Anders is dead. I played through Legacy first and decided to bring along Bethany, Sebastian, and Isabela. I really loved this combo. It's great getting more content with Bethany as I felt like she was completely non-existent in the main game. ...But I so did not approve of her flirting with her brother's husband, haha. I could really feel the familial bond that was missing. Decided to side with Larius as usual. The fight with Corypheus was pretty intense though! Gryffen somehow died right at the start and then Isabela died about halfway through! I didn't think I was going to make it because Sebastian then died as well when there was still about 1/3 of the battle left...but Bethany managed to pull through! That was such an exciting battle and I loved it! Again this just leaves me so much more excited for Inquisition and the Cullen romance! I can't wait! Next was Mark Of The Assassin! I brought Isabela and Bethany. I don't think I've ever taken Isabela before and she made it so much better! She's so hilarious and I loved that she had an additional quest. I was so very surprised when the statues started talking to me! The dialogue that followed and the adventure resulting was just hilarious and well done. Do yourself a favor and take her along if you haven't! This DLC is always so much fun and I love adventuring with Tallis. I'd really love to see her again sometime, hopefully they do decide to bring her back. I also really, really love that they use music from Origins in both of the DLC stories. It's pretty great hearing those songs again and makes me miss Origins! I might look into a few more Inquisition mods in addition to the few I already have installed. But it'll be a while before I get to start the game...and that makes me sad. I'll miss my adventures in Thedas!

I finished Legacy and DA2 last night. I haven't done Mark of the Assasssin yet though, but I'm putting it on hold to replay Mass Effect 3 since I have the updated Kaidan content to try out. I can't resist!
