Cool thanks! I love GameInformer. "The demo begins with character creation. You select whether you wish to be a male or female and can design what they look like, right down to giving them scars, tattoos, hairstyles, makeup, glow effects, and a lot more." OMG!!! GLOW EFFECTS AHHHHH I'm going to go with dark crimson red hair. " After determining your character's life path, you then select your position in the world, such as being a Netrunner, Techie, or Solo. CD Projekt Red says you can be a mix of them all if you want. You aren't really selecting a defined class, but more so your weaknesses and strengths, as the game features a fluid class system that allows you to customize it as you go." Aha! I remembered correctly then about the three classes, awwyes. "In this demo, CD Projekt Red picked a female version of V with stylish long hair that hangs mostly on the left side of her head." LONG HAIR STYLES CONFIRMED?

I'm guessing this is a version of V, has the same jacket we saw in the trailer from sheploo lookalike.

*steals gif* and yeaaah, the orange collar really stood out, which made me think she was the protag right away lol. I actually really dig that jacket and the glowy demon face on the back of it.

Some cool concept arts that were in the trailer Hrm, that's gotta be an early depiction of the mohawk guy? Jacket and jawline metal are very similar. So some kind of gang leader?
He will be mine.

Okay so theres also apparently some other classes that are going to be optional "perk" type deals that you can pull from to add to your arsenal of skills. Rockerboy- Rockerboys are rebellious musicians who use music and revolt to fight authority. They are a lot like '80s punk rockers who look down on corporate "sellouts" as the traitors to the craft. Because they are so charismatic, they can sway, incite and charm a large number of people through musical performances. (wondering if this will let you pick charisma/seduction perks) Corporate- Corporates are the Armani-wearing, Machiavellian mega-yuppies you see in the RoboCop films. Being wealthy and persuasive, they can muster favors and resources beyond what most people can even hope. We know we can already drive cars, but motorcycles have also been confirmed and maybe flying cars as well.

Looking forward to hearing Joe's thoughts. I can definitely see the similarities to Prey 2. It's a shame that game never saw release; it had an exciting concept, a great trailer, and was apparently fairly close to completion when it was cancelled.
Here's the original E3 2011 trailer that got people so excited.

Ill do a bit of an info dump on what was revealed today. *snip* V is a character that you can completely customise. It’s starts with gender, includes body type and tattoos, and ends with clothing. body typebody typeWell holy crap. That's something I've been pushing very hard for a long time, and I didn't expect this to be a game with options. I hope it actually let's you have a range of diverse bodies, but some options are better than nothing, at least.
I hope this becomes more common in games in general.
Can I just say I love how V is the protags name. Really? Uh, okay. As an aside, I'm pretty sure that's literally not a legally-valid name, currently In most countries, anyway. Bioware: Human trash gamerbros constantly bad mouth us because of our optional female protagonists and our optional same-sex romances. Let's just get out of the RPG business. Seemingly every other studio: Wow, Bioware RPGs have a super loyal fanbase because of their optional female protagonists and optional same-sex romances. We should start targeting those demographics by incorporating those ideas into our RPGs. It just makes it even more strange that both of those things started happening at the same time. I'm definitely going to have to wait for more details because the choices are going to have to be god tier to get me to play a first person game (how would romance even work in just first person?)Hopefully all conversations show your character. Otherwise, it'll be an incredibly long game with a huge amount of interaction... where you see not a single facial expression from your own character. Problem is, however, that most devs make the bisexual male characters straight-but-gay-for-you. Or they are always the same, no matter which gender you play. I think Bioware did a really great job with Jaal in this regard after the patch came out. Romancing hm with Scott felt different from Sara, but it wasn't less quality. But that's just my personal opinion of course.Maker, nooooo. I hate that kind of thing. It's the same reason I think them making Scott and Sara have personality and dialogue differences instead of being different vehicles for the same roleplaying possibilities pissed me off so much. I don't want to arbitrarily get locked into or out of something because of the gender I choose to play (plus, that already happens enough in real life, lol). In this case, what if I like a romance's path with the male PC more than the female PC? I'm screwed and can't do anything about it, that's hardly fair. I want as few differences between the female and male PC as possible. I want it to be a cosmetic choice.
That's a lot of options... for a first person only game. What a strange choice. And Rockergirl, or...? Picking non-neutral names for jobs or classes is silly.

From an article I just read "Nevertheless, I had a chat with a developer after the demo (more of that in a separate post) who confirmed that romancing is still very much a thing, that the romantic characters have set tastes of their own, and that some are straight, some gay, and some bisexual. With BioWare getting really into jetpacks, it’s good to have somebody carrying this torch."

I totally get why people are dubious towards CDPR considering the choices they made with Witcher and the fanbase they've curated through that, but this is seriously committed and I'm going to be optimistic. They could of course totally botch the execution here, but they seem to be going beyond what anyone expected from them and I can't help but feel good about that.
