Lee Lykaon and Brasidas are literally the only truly great guys in this game IMO. I enjoy quests with both of them every time and I gotta admit, when it comes to Lykaon it's quite difficult to tell him "no" I'm going to hunt Chrisis, although I have no idea when. I'm so deep into The Witcher 3 again, I can't make myself stop playing it for too long. I heard this new DLC is amazing so far so there's hope for me to enjoy the additional content at least once. Is this story creator any good too? Maybe my Kass can actually end up with Kyra for good, have her true happy ending with her and Phoibe.

Strangely enough Timotheos is my favorite romance pretty much. He was added during the tales free dlc stuff. Lykaon is amazing too though! I also enjoy Thaletas-but his ending is shit. Edit forgot the second thing: As for the story creator mode...it's interesting, but pretty limited at the moment. I also haven't quite figured it out well enough to make my own quests yet. I am not sure if I will ever quite get there, but either way the search engine for the site is somewhat decent-however people don't describe their quests very well. One said it was a thaletas and Kyra story with romance...but Thaletas and Kyra are together still...and that romance tag pissed me off. Grr...argh! The lack of voice acting and limited tool set is odd to say the very least. Worth checking out since it's free.

I haven't touched free DLC content, even on xone But I heard it's mostly great. The lack of voice acting and limited tool set is odd to say the very least. Worth checking out since it's free. As long as I can see my favs on the screen, living happily ever after, it'll be enough If there won't be any story that pleases me, I'll surely try to make my own. Thank you!

Yeah, the last time I picked the game up was back after the first part of the DLC that I refuse to acknowledge. I might give Fate of Atlantis a spin after I finish out Vampyr, though. Depending on how long I drag that out, it might be right around time for part three of that.
I mentioned that when I did Thaletas's romance, I deliberately just did his portions, killed the Cultist, and moved on without any further acknowledgment of the arc of the island, right? Cuz yeah... I'm not dealing with that bullshit. Although as nice as his romance was, actually being full of... y'know, ROMANCE, I honestly kinda think that he's wrong for how I play Alexios, considering that my whole concept of Alexios as a character is someone who doesn't like to acknowledge his Spartan background - Sparta ordered his death as a child, he bears Sparta no love.
That's also why the "but continue the bloodline!" excuse don't fly with me, but, anyway...

Ugh I definitely need all the extra Lykaon content. If I ever do any story creator stuff of my own, it's going to all be about the best boy in Greece.
Also in regard to the DLC, I haven't played the Hades episode yet but I cannot recommend the Elysium episode enough.

I found an artist that draws a lot of Alexios and Lykaon, so of course imma post all of it here, first one outside of the spoiler, because I said so

Well, yesterday morning, I finished up Vampyr, so I decided to reinstall Odyssey (stupid DRM storage bullshit corporations *angry muttering*) so that I could take the DLC I'm presently willing to acknowledge out for a spin.
For all my anger, this is still a gorgeous game. With the last part of Fate of Atlantis due out next week, I honestly am tempted to just kill time running around and looking at the scenery.

Got this on sale during the Steam sale last week. Was hesitant due to the problematic DLC situation, but overall I'm enjoying it quite a lot. I'm doing a bit of a rush playthrough just to see they main storyline, though I'm making sure to get all the right things done to get the "happy" ending (whether it's actually happy I have no idea).
Can definitely see myself pouring an ungodly amount of hours into this game when I finally do a completionist run. But I can also see now why people were angry about the game encouraging you to grind (buy microtransactions). The amount of resources needed to upgrade gear is insane!
But Alexios is just so damn pretty that it's hard to stay mad at the game.
I've had a go with pretty much all the male options except Alkibiades. Super fun guy but so not my type. Bring on more gruff Spartans please. Shame you don't really get anything other than flings though... I mean besides the DLC horror which I have not purchased.

Lordie, don’t even get me started again on Alkibiades... The guy is a walking sexual harassment claim, and it’s played for laughs. To say nothing of all the people I saw back at release who were calling “a femme bi icon” who “makes straight guys uncomfortable, so he’s best.”
Because it’s apparently so inconceivable to be uncomfortable with him with any other identity...

Is there romance in the last part? I gather there was a female romance in part 2?

Played through the Trials of Atlantis DLC stories, I'm pretty sure the other DLCs aren't worth buying yea? Kind of disappointed with there not being any m/m content in it (that I could find?). I still want Ubisoft to give us more Alexios/Kassandra. They're just too perfect. And given the way the story goes, there's basically an unlimited potential to bring them back for new stories. So ya know... do it Ubisoft. I don't care if it's not a continuation of the overarching AC storyline. I could do without the whole "Animus" metaplot anyways. This was my first AC game so I really only have a very vague grasp on the whole Templar/Abstergo/Assassin stuff and I really wouldn't buy a game for more of it. Alexios is all you need to get my money Ubi. New Game + time!

Not sure, I want 4 more misthios games, but also no more, because I'm afraid of what they might come up with. Quebec is busy with Gods & Monsters, so another studio would have to do it, and we know how that looks like after the first dlc... But I will definitely be replaying it

I just love ancient Greece so much, I'd never get enough. Although with the fact there seems to be no cohesive vision between Ubisoft studios, I would sort of worry about them telling use we have another Alexios/Kassandra game and them yanking all of the RPG mechanics out of it so they're no longer our characters. That first DLC already makes is seem like they barely know what an RPG is and have no understanding of why people play them.

I didn't have time to play, work is keeping me busy and tired. But I did get a new PC (with an i5 8400 and GTX 1060). The game looks slightly better, but the performance is just night and day. I went from 30 frames with dips to 10 to 55 with dips to 30-35. Too bad I have only like a few hours left in it? I'm down to 3 tales (the brothers, Herodotus', and Sokrates'), 1 beast, and like Messenia and the ending. One really, really bad day was super funny. And Megakles is a cutie. I've got more eye rolling gifs out of that one quest: Some pictures:
