The Doves - Lost Souls. In 2004, I took a trip around Ireland staying in hostels, meeting people from different countries, changing plans to hang out with them. One guy I met from the Netherlands put me on to the Doves. Really love the songs on it. Anyway, I just went through the entire album last night, though I then went back to my playlist about a Magicians AU that I'm writing that takes place after the The Magician's Land (or maybe after Season 3 of the TV show - which is wildly divergent from the novels). Anyway, off-track so here's Lost Souls.

Amaranthe came out with a new album this month. It's nothing groundbreaking, but I think it's still pretty good overall.

Currently listening to my mostly trance playlist (DJ Doboy, lots of Tiesto and something I'm blanking on) to go along with my "Posthumanity" series on Archive of Our Own. The story is an alternate reality of the general results of the original Secret Wars from the 80s and having the heroes and villains never return. It's a lot more complicated than that, and there are other significant changes to the past, but that's the jist of it.
I think I've mentioned before that I create playlists entirely around things I'm writing, or even get some influences for what I listening to.
