Oh my god I have never heard of him but I love this!!! He's got a fantastic voice. He's also the frontman of Bloc Party and their style changes a lot. (also, no, this is not a gospel song) Their early stuff was punk, later electronic/indie rock. His first solo albums were electronic (the songs above), his new one is very different, I'd say folk |

Plus some others, under a cut, because apparently youtube is more resource hungry than Crysis
I've seen them perform live. They took a venue with horrible acoustics, set it up properly to mitigate that, and delivered a performance that was more powerful and flawless than their studio recordings. During the more intense parts I felt the vibrations of the cello in my whole body. Totally recommend seeing them live if you get the chance. |
