I'm still not over this show. Watched the first episode of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina last night, liked it. Salem makes me want to have my own familiar. Heard he doesn't talk though in this show, ngl disappointed as I grew up watching the 90s show lol. Surprised to see the white male patriarchy tag being thrown in there in the first episode, isn't this show suppose to be set in the 60s? I dunno that just felt jarring to me given the time.

Still watching second "V" series. Thought it was only one season but it ended with a cliffhanger. So happy there's a second season.

Violet Evergarden - beautiful story, I really hope season 2 will happen next year. I can't wait 2 years for a movie, it's too long! Supergirl is back and eps are coming out every week

Currently on episode 6 of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, enjoying the show alot. It's really really really different to the 90s show, very dark and quiet keen on all that Satanism, raised Catholic and although I'm a pretty lax one I feel like saying a few Hail Marys after each episode! Not today Satan, not today. I still wish Salem could talk, Ambrose feels like the 90s Salem at times but I guess they just wanted to go in a different direction, never read the Archie comics this is based on. Hilda and Zelda are a hoot and I'm really enjoying Ms. Wardwell too. And this is a fun lil bit

It's a spin-off of Riverdale (originally intended for CW but them moved to Netflix). Since Riverdale is set in the present I assume Sabrina is as well.

Oh, well that makes sense then, they just keep the 60s style, never watched Riverdale. When I herp I derp.

Almost like the warped asshole version of Archie Comics.

One more episode of Sabrina to go. I freakin' love Prudence. That cannibal episode will stay with me also, really fucked up.

Just came across this, sounds kinda neat. I'll miss the other cast though. www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/penny-dreadful-revived-at-showtime-1157048Penny Dreadful: City of Angels opens in 1938 Los Angeles for a story that Showtime describes as "a time and place deeply infused with Mexican-American folklore and social tension." Rooted in the conflict between characters connected to the deity Santa Muerte and others allied with the devil, City of Angels will explore a mix of the supernatural and the combustible reality of that period, creating new occult myths and moral dilemmas within a historical backdrop. The series will feature all new characters and storylines.

I really need to see this Sabrina show. It's very Buffy, surprised you haven't had a crack at it yet, you'd enjoy it. Finished it btw and also finished season 6 of OITNB. Enjoyed this season much more than last season which I felt dragged. Also need to pick up again with AHS: Apocalypse, been sidetracked with other shows.

I watched some crap gay themed movie about some Christians who came to a small time and try to help the community. One of them seems to be gay.
Now watching one with a church pastor falling for a drifter. Probably wouldn't continue but I'm casually acquainted with one of the actors.

I've been trying to watch some decent sci-fi on Amazon. No luck. There's some truly horrific stuff out there. Acting in some stuff is on par with the worst amateur stuff. Really, really bad. I've definitely seen YouTube shorts vastly superior to a lot of this stuff. Be cautious with Amazon sci-fi.

I just watched: B The Beginning Ajin Last Hope I have a hard time deciding which one was best - Ajin or B The Beginning. Last Hope was simply ok. dmc1001 have you ever tried Defiance? I think it's on Amazon. I might be wrong though... One of the best Scifi I've seen recently.

If it's Syfy it'll be decent. Those other shows are garbage. Currently watching the latest episodes of The Gifted, Manifest and Charmed. Liking all of these. Really love The Gifted but they all have their own special something that makes them enjoyable.

Same as Which was also a very good series I knew about this one only because I love Stargate SG-1 and Helen Magnus is portrayed by scifi Queen Amanda Tapping who portrayed Samantha Carter in Stargate And now I feel like I should rewatch SG1 again

izut: Giving Defiance a shot right now. It is on Amazon. I think I have seen some of Sanctuary but I'm not sure. Don't think I've ever heard of Seven Nations but I'll look for it. Thanks for the suggestions!
