I've been watching The Umbrella Academy. It's pretty good so far, and it's got some fun twists on superhero/comic book tropes. I especially like how a lot of shots feel a lot like full-page comic book panels, and the use of splitscreen shots in action scenes.
yea and it feels like a bit more darker dirk gently to me, which is cool! i miss dirk gently  and theres a mlm rep in the main cast, though his love interest dies, but considering a spoiler...its not that bad? and some other love interests die as well , so i guess its even lol I only just finished episode 4, so yeah, I'd tag that spoiler. I wouldn't be surprised by that, though, given how dark this series seems willing to go; it takes place on the eve of the apocalypse, after all.
I was not pleased with Cha-Cha shooting Detective Patch. I hope her end is unpleasant.
That definitely is pretty cool of him.

I finished The Umbrella Academy's first season. My overall impression was generally positive. I was kinda annoyed that they ended on a cliffhanger, though the end of the world did look pretty dang cool.
Luther is easily my least favorite Hargreeve after Reginald. Also, is it weird that I didn't really feel bad about Pogo dying? It felt like his primary purpose was to lie to the Hargreeve siblings, offer unconditional support to their abusive father and his reputation even after he died, and look sad when they called him out on it. Plus you would've thought that he'd have told Luther "hey, your father knew that your sister's terrifying powers are affected by her emotional state, so maybe you should be gentle and sympathetic and maybe try to get her back on her medication instead of choking her out and locking her away indefinitely?" |

I'm gonna watch the show, if I'd ditch every movie or show where I cant stand the actor/actress I wouldnt watch anything lol and I do that a lot tbh so I understand, Chris Pratt or Gal Gadot being my more hated examples lmao like those two ruined Wonder Woman and Jurassic Park to me lol |

Watching love, death robots, and the second and tenth eps are my fave so far
tenth is about two male werewolves who are very close, but it's sad 😥 still liked it though, so Nick u might wanna check it out
The second is just the cutest and funniest thing, I wouldn't mind the whole show being about them instead
A lot of sexualized female nudity though, like very explicit, couldn't even watch one episode with the good story premise cause of that urgh reminded me of Andromeda but played by a dude bro lol
And skip the fifth one as well, the mlm guy dies horribly there bleh

yea, after that dudebro andromeda there were more interesting eps and less nudity and sex, so im glad i didnt drop it there was another good one about robots, dont remember the name, loved lucky 13 and zima blue, and good hunting was good too |

I'm crushing on Oscar Isaac big time so I'm all up for Netflix to continue adding him in movies. Triple Frontier should have had waaay more parts with him speaking Spanish.  The movie was decent enough, liked the locations. Kept thinking how expensive filming must have been. |
