Yay! My favorite Drell! I was so mad at stupid Kai Leng for killing Thane. I literally cried. yeah.. I cried like a child.. was 1,5 years ago my mom died and I hadnt cried since then.. I'm the best at repressin. I need a medal or something.. but holy shit I bawled hard. also because after that pI played all games through to get Kirrahe to take his place..and they basically forget that he exists  |

Wasn't Thane originally meant to be bi, like Miranda & Jack - or at least, audio files were present. I love Thane, he's one of my favourite companions. His death kills me every time. And the memorial with Kolyat. His LM is my favourite - I'm always his bad cop.  I have a spare playthrough where I intend to romance him, for the achievement - first time I will have played bi in a BioWare game. Because he's that awesome. |

Yes he was meant to be bi, his death brings a tear to my eye, and his LM is something special, it doesn't rely on combat, it's just great dialogue, great scenes and lots of cool interrupts. (my favourite is the Paragon one where you shoot the light and punch Kolyat. The hostage situation is over in like 10 seconds lol.) Also his prayer scene where he disappears? Coolest scene ever. |

Aw, it's not lame! We should have threads for our beloved characters, even if they only get a reply every six months! I was debating making one for my Aussie Ice Queen lol. My BFF is gutted that Thane wasn't a bi option. He romanced him with FemShep instead. It kinda worked out, because like me he just couldn't hack Mark Meer's voice acting, so Femshep was his canon. He did go back to BroShep for a run once Kaidan was available though. Thane's death scene is one of the saddest things in the whole game. And his messages in the DLC, even if only friends. |
