i keep telling myself i'll read fable, it's supposed to be really really good... maybe this will push me to do it!
god, can you imagine if bioware's new ip was an urban fantasy with werewolves and fairies and vampires, instead of anthem?
Yes! I read lot of good opinions about Fables and I cant wait to start! But I have a lot to read y.y
It would have been so perfect, I still remember when we speculated about that in the romance thread, good times... Fuck Anthem
Aaaaaaalso, I'm doing again my canon Skyrim playthrough I posted this in the TES forum but there's no love there nowadays, and since I talk about Vilkas and Inigo, I think it fits here nicely
I'm replaying my canon Dragonborn again (fortunately I kept a save at the beginning of the game, I wish I would have done this with my canon Warden T_T) since I found the mod that let you have five followers I want to make a decent story with my Scooby Gang if that makes sense, it's one of the things that I love about Bioware games (or shows like Buffy or Lost Girl) and with this mod I can build a decent team of friends.
Besides Rhaliel, my breton -mostly mage- Dragonborn
These are my Scooby Gang:
1 - Vilkas: Two-handed warrior and human Nord werewolf. Lawful good. He wants to get rid of his curse, but understands that it doesnt matter if he has Rhaliel by his side and his werewolf mojo can be useful to fight against the recent menace.
2 - Inigo: Archer Khajiit. Neutral good. He wants to repay Rhaliel for trying to kill him in the past, at least that's what he thinks, being an addicted to skooma has side effects.
3 - Serana: Vampire. Neutral good. She wants to stop the evil plans of her villainous father. She finds in the Dragonborn a true friend and a worthy ally.
4 - Durak: Vampire hunter and Orsimer ranger. Lawful good. He swore to avenge the death of his two wives and his crossbow is hungry of bloodsucker's hearts. Later joins the Dragonborn because he doesn't trust Serana and wants to keep an eye on her. He will slowly realise that being a vampire doesn't always make you a monster.
5 - Jenassa: Dual Wielding Dunmer mercenary. True Neutral. Her past is a mystery and the Dragonborn hired her services despite her shadowy nature and lack of scruples. It's always good when a dangerous weapon is in the right hands and why not, maybe some kind of redemption is in her future.
Notable mentions:
1 - Lydia: Sword and shield human Nord warrior. Lawful good. Housecarl of the Dragonborn's home in Whiterun. She is loyal to her Thane and she is really kind to Chases-Starlight and keep her safe.
2 - Chases-Starlight: Argonian and Rhaliel and Vilkas adopted daughter. When the Dragonborn came to the Windhelm docks, it was the best day of her life, finding finally a family and true home.
3 - Meeko: When this stray dog guided the Dragonborn to his deceased owner in his bed, it was impossible for him to abandon him in the cold roads. He found a family and Chases-Starlight is his best friend.
I tried to build my gang with characters that I really like, three men and three women and a good mix of different races and monsters. I must say that the only one that I don't know is Jenassa, and for my fifth member I wanted a female character and her questionable and amoral nature makes her excellent to the team. Jenassa and Vilkas appearance are mods of course. And Inigo and Chases-Starlight are original mod characters. Chases-Starlight is great because she's an argonian kid and I hate human kids =P and Inigo is the prettiest blue cat I've ever seen, his story is fun for what I've seen and he speaks like Zevran.
Inigo is soooooooooooooooo cool and his voice... holy shit that modder is a gem in every sense edit. I started the harem playthrough but once you gather the dudes it gets boring fast lol
edit2. I think I'm gonna complete the Companion quests and meet Vilkas first for reasons , and I'm going to try not to marry him straight away lol
Once there was a handsome lad named Nick who lived on the edge of the forest. He was a good man who cared deeply for the animals that sometimes wandered out of the forest. One day a wolf wondered into his back yard. He was howling as if he was in a panic or a rage. Nick was frightened at first, but soon he realized the poor thing was hurt. He faced his fears and gave the wolf some food to calm it, and then bandaged a particularly nasty wound. Moments later an even larger wolf-almost supernatural in size came out of the forest, it grabbed the much smaller wolf by the nape and drug it off into the woods. Nick was startled, but fascinated and followed them. he followed them deep into the woods-where they came across a log cabin. Nick had explored the woods, but had never been this deep before.
The cabin looked very nice and very out of place. Much to his surprise the wolves both transformed as they neared the front door to the cabin. the smaller wolf was a child of perhaps 12 or 13. The larger wolf was a grown man with a handsome beard. Perhaps it was his father. They turned to Nick and motioned for him to follow them into the cabin. The older man lead his son to a bed where he could rest and heal up from whatever had injured him earlier.
Then he invited Nick to sit with him at a round wooden table with some comfy looking chairs. The two had a lovely meal of various fruits and nuts, and talked a long time about many different things. The minutes turned to hours and soon the day was gone and night was coming. "Would you like to stay with me tonight?" He asked Nick. Nick thought about it a while, and realized that he would like that very much.
The two of them went to the fellow's bed and cuddled up warm in the covers. The werewolf did not change that night, but as he got excited his body grew warmer as his body hair thicker-it was like the beast in him was partially manifesting as their every kiss grew more passionate. Nick had never felt more loved or safe. The two never parted from each other again after that night. They married and raised his son as a family.
