No, I haven't shown up here before, but my trashness runs deep.  I'm at the tailend of writing an original 70k werewolf story at the moment (it also includes a gay werewolf, though sadly he's too busy with the plot and his own personality to do much about it). I know Bioware likes to go against type with their species representatives (Garrus and Vetra the rebellious turians, Varric the undwarfy dwarf, etc.), but I wouldn't mind a bit of a stereotype. You know, the leather-jacket-wearing, passionate, wild-haired werewolf with the bad temper.  However, it could also be fun to have a very poised person who strategically goes ballistic. Lore-wise, I'm a traditionalist, I like it when they're actual magical creature not some pseudo-sciency thing Fenris' voice actor was unexpectedly attractive in general, tbh. that awesome!! will you try to publish it? (what 70k stands for btw? I'm a humble spanish peasant >_< 70 thousands of words? PAGES?  ) Oh I like the way you think!! that archetype is one of my favorites, love me tsundere-types  you know, I have already imagined how I would like the werewolf in DA, a hot ginger KISA that by full moon nights is a lovely beast but I havent thought yet about what looks I would like to see in a werewolf in an urban fantasy setting, maybe something like Bigby or Robert from Dream Daddy, ... I dont know if you guys have some actor/model in mind, I ... dont .... which it's strange XD I will think about that and decide soon. edit. Also YES to the magical origin, every time they make the curse a virus or something like that it's like  I'd like too! Although now that it's almost finished I'm becoming increasingly aware how much of it I need to rewrite, haha. AT LEAST 70K PAGES of corrections, it feels like. But yes, 70000 words is what I'm aiming for atm (I'm at 60k). Tsunderes are the best /hides icon, I'm not biased. I am totally on board for a hot red-head. We haven't really had a male one yet in the modern Bioware RPs, have we? I don't have an actor in mind, but I'll totally spent some time thinking on that. And yes to a dateable sort-of-Bigby. |

I've been thinking about what kind of character I would like if the werewolf is not a KISA by day and I think someone religious, maybe an Andrastian with the curse would be cool, my characters are always atheists like myself so I'm seeing potential drama over his beliefs and his curse. Something like hey dude you are perfect the way you are, there's no reason why Andraste and the Maker- if they exist -wouldnt love you, mage word! leave the drama and Kiss me already!!!!  I've been bad officer, detain me.  |

I've been thinking about Greedfall and even though the werewolf myth is from European folklore, there are many analogues in other cultures, and since Greedfall is set on colonialism times I'm wondering how many chances we have to see a werewolf LI from that game in the form of a Skin-walker, not the same but close! I think it would be an interesting thing to explore in the games, it's a shame they haven't done anything with werewolves since Origins....but at least we know they exist. I wouldn't mind seeing them brought back and explored further....and it would be amazing for you to get your werewolf LI! |
