Honestly, I'll be straight up and say it (Warning, I'm being candid and it might make easily sensitive people upset.. especially if this was their intention so I'm going to spoil it )
I have a pretty big fear that people even if Jaal is bi, will not give BW credit where it's due. This would be a serious step to making amends for their stupidity (even if it shouldn't have needed to be 'fixed 'in the first pace) and that deserves respect tbh.
Anger if they don't make Jaal bi is honestly deserved and I'll be pissed too, but if they fix it I just hope people give respect and credit if it ends up being deserved.
Also, mainly because I hate how MEA teams crappy practice will reflect on the crazy good writing and inclusiveness in DA. I swear DA better not suffer for their crappy MEA lul |

I swear DA better not suffer for their crappy MEA lul I'll put it like this, I'll be celebrating on twitter and reddit and bsn and wherever, because I do want company execs to see that stuff like this can generate positive buzz, not just the inevitable whining that'll be coming out of the usual alt-right corners of video game fandom if this happens. I think that is important. However, privately, I will keep the launch state of this game in mind for the next time an ME game comes out; and, to be honest, even for the next time a DA games comes out. ME:A was pretty much the only game I'd pre-ordered since, what do you know, ME3. I don't even really regret it because playing it unspoiled was fun, but I think I'll be waiting around a couple of weeks for the next Bioware game unless there's more information. I just don't really feel like giving them my money on faith again 'cause I don't have much left. |

I swear DA better not suffer for their crappy MEA lul It's probably gonna take me some time to be outwardly grateful, and I will be if they restore his bi content, but I don't think I'm gonna forget everything leading up to MEA; The queerbaiting, the release, and what we've heard going on behind the scenes regarding LGBT content. Because it's left a seriously bitter taste in my mouth, and patching it back in feels... I dunno, unwilling? Like they would've left it if nobody made a big stink about it. I'd still feel like an afterthought, I think, even as much as I want it. Mainly, I think I'm just gonna be relieved that they heard us, and will call out anybody not happy with that decision - because it's the major thing to do to correct what happened - but I don't know if I'll ever not be wary because of this which makes me feel sad really  |
