YAAAASS UNDERRATED LELIANA X DORF SHIPS GIVE ME LIFE  pls share ur headcanons with me, i am smol dwarf trash I feel like Leliana would have a great appreciation for dwarf aethetics, she said she liked Orzammar though I don't remember what she specifically says. Something about the lava and high walls I think, I'll take screencaps during my new playthrough. Dwarves also culturally appreciate fine craftsmanship! And love silks, jewelry, and braided hair! Political intrigue, and the dwarven equivalent of the Game for the nobles! Leliana approves. I'd also imagine Leliana and Rica would get along really well! I like the idea of the Brosca's staying close, with Leliana being like The Weird Human Aunt of the growing family what with Rica marrying (? she is refereed to as a royal concubine AND wife in the epilogue so idk) into the Aeducans and having lil' Endrin. Boring political Paragon stuff Leliana would tag along with, definitely. And the nugs... never forget the Nug Luv... Yeah, there's a lot to do with Leliana/Dwarf!Warden. I think the only reason we don't see more about them in fandom is because dorfs don't have as much wide appeal aesthetically. I'm hoping that maybe getting a plot important, well-done dwarf romance will change that, and people will start to see dorfs in a different light.  Crimson got into Vetra despite not being into turians, after all. |

It's fun because Aeducan is either tricked by Bhelen and they can bond over betrayal!!1 or Aeducan murders Trian and they can bond over redemption!!1 and either way it's v v beautiful yus. Also I plan to seduce Crim to the dark side once again. I like to think my incessant creeping led to something gud. |

This thread makes me want to play DA:O again with a dwarf and romance Leliana.
I can never decide on Brosca or Aeducan.
I lean towards Brosca since I like the "rags to riches" thing and helping your sister but I also like the idea of an Aeducan who helps put Bhelen on the throne simply because she thinks he's the better choice (in spite of their "bad blood").
I also want to play warrior so it seems like Aeducan would fit that better?

Huh, I never felt that way. Thought it was pretty great being able to import a save where Loghain was Morrigan's baby daddy. And then he sacrificed himself. Twas pretty epic. |

Bae has a thread, yaaaaaay! She pretty much had me at hello. I was immediately in love with Leliana from the moment she was introduced. Her introduction was set-up quite well. I was surprised when I saw that a Chantry sister pulled out a sword and helped defend us. I wasn't expecting to have a cute, sweet religious girl join the party and know how to handle herself in combat. I enjoyed listening to her stories in camp, getting to befriend her, and learning about her dark past. Eventually, I even managed to pull away from doing the Zevran romance (since he is the only gay option on consoles) and tried out her romance path. It was really sweet and just as good as the Morrigan and Alistair romances. I think she had a decent cameo in DA2, but unfortunately I am not a fan of her portrayal in Inquisition. It's one of the many, many problems I have with the game. That doesn't change the fact that I love her plenty in Origins though! She's definitely one of my favorite party members. |

What I mean by more narratively satisfactory is that Morrigan will talk about the Warden more than Leliana does and his kid is right there staring at you so, for me anyway, this world state is more connected to DA:O than the other and is a more satisfactory ending for my Warden. She is very angry in DA:I, which is understandable but there is very little of the women we knew in DA:O on display. (with the exception of a few of her interactions with Josephine) Varric too has been changed by his experiences BUT it is easier to see the connection between who he is in DA:I and who he was in DA2, he still makes jokes, plays cards, and tells stories even if he more frustrated and sadder than he was in DA2. Leliana had a lot of between game character development that we never got to see, so it's jarring to see her again in DA:I. |
