I have to say I wonder exactly what they even could implement at this stage besides bi Jaal or the extra emails route. It is a mystery. Posh up Reyes' dance, throw in the nude toss with Gil, send some emails, and call it "happy with the specifics." The Gil fans will go wild for ass. I keep hoping it's not just the stupid Gil sex scene, because I don't care so much, tbh. lol

What would: 1. bi Jaal 2. bi or gay NPC that I adore like Evfra 3. promise of DLC Quarian boyfriend complete with official art, voice actor announcement, detailed story information, and release date for the DLC.

I'll be honest that I just don't care about Gil and short of scrapping the entire romance and making Gil an entirely different character, I doubt it could be fixed for me. But if they just add a sex scene to Gil/Reyes, I feel like they have gotten a very wrong and slightly insulting impression of what we want. The m/m romances have less substantial content overall. We want fully developed romances with complex, important characters. Just being able to see our flimsy NPC LI's ass isn't fixing the real problem. It's about the most shallow route they could take.

Yeah, in all seriousness, I of course agree with you. Every player, regardless of the sex of their character or the sexuality of their character, should have the opportunity to engage in a romance that is equal to that of other sexes/sexualities. I'm not sure why this was such a difficult thing for them to comprehend before the game was released. Either they are stupid/severely sheltered (honestly, many cishet white men of a certain socioeconomic status are -not ALL but many) or they knew they were being unfair and didn't care/didn't think the backlash would hurt their bottom dollar.

Anything besides bi Jaal-and I probably won't bother to re-download the game honestly.

Yeah, I agree. I've had discussions with people on reddit about this and some of them had this idea of "oh, m/m players are so shallow, they just want porn". The problem with the missing sex scenes is that it's just one more thing these romances lack (and also another pointer to the fact that maybe someone in the team found actual visible sexual acts between male characters at worst icky and at best unnecessary because not titilating to the heterosexual male audience). I doubt there would have been as many complaints about that if the romances had otherwise been of comparable length and quality to the heterosexual squadmate romances (or the lesbian squadmate romances that occured as a byproduct of them).

Yeah, of course. If Liam had been bi or gay, I doubt there would be a massive outcry about the lack of detailed sex scene. It's because we got no squadmate and very little content for our LIs. The sex scene is, imo, the smallest concern.

I would really like the Gil sexy times to be finished and restored...but Bi Jaal is far more interesting. Also I would like for Reyes to somehow get more content in the main game-not just emails either-cause that's boring shit. I mean I don't get why they can't at the VERY least have repeatable kisses like in Dragon Age Inquisition. WTF BioWare!

I really want the Meridian kiss to be detached from the baby choice. The setup is so perfect for what Scott and Gil say in the scene and then... nothing. It really sucks.

What I want to see (Optimistic): - DLC full game m/m squad mate (with equal content to the other squadmates
- DLC new quest m/m flirt/fling option
- Added general game content (banter, cut scenes, etc.) for Gil and Reyes
- Added romance content (banter, cut scenes, etc.) for Gil and Reyes
- Restored Gil sex scene with nudity
- Added Reyes sex scene with nudity
- Changing Gil's romance to remove/reduce Jill's role
- Changing Gil's romance so that you aren't locked into baby-making for the final kiss
- Changing Reyes' romance so that you aren't required to allow him to murder someone to romance him
- Holo-calls from Reyes after each of the major missions
- Increased emails from Gil and Reyes (both romance and non-romance related)
What I want to see (Realistic): - Added general game content (banter, cut scenes, etc.) for Gil and Reyes
- Added romance content (banter, cut scenes, etc.) for Gil and Reyes
- Restored Gil sex scene with nudity
- Added Reyes sex scene with nudity
- Changing Gil's romance so that you aren't locked into baby-making for the final kiss
- Holo-calls from Reyes after each of the major missions
- Increased emails from Gil and Reyes (both romance and non-romance related)
What I expect to see (Disappointment): - Restored Gil sex scene with nudity
- Increased emails from Gil and Reyes (both romance and non-romance related)

Persona 5 is just such a fucking tease though about m/m stuff...like the things you can say to Yusuke...or the way Iwai talks to you at the the planetarium about how everybody else there are couples (I know the age difference thing but there are a few adult women you can romance, including your homeroom teacher soooo). I want to complain how I can't play as girl in Persona 5...Persona 3 Portable spoiled me I've never played Persona before. Is it any good? I know more less that we play as some high school guy that can have relationships and all that. Despite the lack of the ability to romance a guy it's a VERY great game. It's got your typical JRPG elements along with dating sim elements, and it's the best of both worlds. It's a much longer game than, say, a Bioware game...I'm half way through and already more than 50 hours in...and I am not a completionist AT ALL, that's just how long the story takes. But it's also not in the slightest bit a slog, the hours fly by. That being said I also dropped Persona 3 pretty fast and skipped 4 so I can't really speak for those ones, but that was also before my "rebirth" as a gamer when I used to give up on games lol. BUT you don't need to have played any Persona game at all before to play Persona 5 so I recommend starting with it since I can vouch for it .

Tbh, I wasn't following this game, cause it's jrpg and I'm not really into them, though I did enjoy FF15 a lot. So the question is... will I like it? Reviews for Persona 5 are great and actual players love it as well, so maybe I'll give it a try after all. Thanks!

I'm not usually into turn-based JRPGs but this one is really engaging imo and most of the game is the sim part, it's not ALWAYS the JRPG part. That being said it's nothing like FF15 (although I have played and enjoyed that game) so it's hard to say if you'd like P5 based on that, but I definitely think it's worth playing if you can spare the money to try out the game. Usually JRPGs are a massive slog for me but I'm really enjoying P5, although I do enjoy the sim part more...it's kind of a reward for getting through the turn-based battles lol. PS. You're welcome xD

Is anybody willing to complain with me at length about how I can't romance a guy in Persona 5 I was disappointed. I haven't played the others, but the PC is very cute, so I would have definitely played if you could date a dude.

Yeah, I have to say I'd probably find it very hard to enjoy a game with romances if you can't gay bang or at least play as a woman romancing a guy. I mean-I just like what I like.
