So I was watching this week's episode of American Horror Story, and I made it a little over half way through the episode and just stopped and deleted the episode and canceled my recording of the season. Maybe it'll get better eventually or not, but I just found it very emotionally draining and I didn't really see the plus side to continuing with it. There's just nothing about it that draws me in at this point.

Not my fault...the rest has been mostly just the main character crying and everyone telling her she's crazy to be worried all the time-despite the fact all the horrible shit is happening around her all the time. plus other things that get real spoilery that are just annoying me greatly. eh...not for me I guess.

Not really feeling this season either, OTT gory, the clown cult is pretty lame, Sarah Paulson is wasted this season and all this political jizz, nah. It's a pretty disappointing season so far, wouldn't blame folks for bailing on this one.

I've seen all these actors do such interesting characters over the years, and now this one just feels like the writers are wanking off to some kind of political stance that is lost in all the gore and awkward drama. -shrug- I mean I agree with the thoughts of the world going to shit, but somehow I just am sick of hearing about it. -shrug-

Really hope Netflix will add some good ones this month otherwise, it's time to go pirate! And since I've pretty much given up on this season of AHS, I got more time to squeeze in a new show/movie.

Not only Halloween month, but we get a Friday the 13th in a couple weeks. Damn it there better be a horror movie marathon somewhere!
I forgot to dvr the season of AHS, but from the sounds of it it's not worth checking out. At this point all my hopes are with Stranger Things season 2.

I bought a collection of Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday The 13th films to watch this month! I plan on starting Nightmare On Elm Street tonight! I've seen the original a few times and the second film once. I've also seen Freddy Vs. Jason and the remake back when it was in theatres. The rest of the franchise is a mystery to me so I am looking forward to going through them all! I've seen parts 1-8 of Friday The 13th but not the others. I plan on starting those on Halloween along with watching Chopping Mall, whose lead actress I have met!!! I saw the first two Scream films again just about two months ago...otherwise I would've probably included those! I'd also like to start watching the Halloween movies. I've never seen them before. Last year I watched the Poltergeist trilogy for the first time for Halloween and I loved them! Moght watch those again as well.

I adore the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. The series was okay at times too (but not nearly enough Freddy in most of the episodes if I remember correctly). It's easily my favorite horror movie series for sure.
Oh, Friday the 13th-I like a few of them, but mostly they kind of annoy me. Far too many scenes just for nudity sake-plus Jason doesn't have a personality sadly-which really makes it a bit boring at times. Still I did love the one with the girl with special powers that kept kicking his ass, and the Jason x where they were in space was cool even if a bit too wacky for most probably. lol!
I loved the first two Poltergeist movies. The third one was kind of strange, and apparently the start (little girl) died during the filming of it or something...so it feels off to me. I still haven't seen the remake, I've heard only bad things, but as I have a taste for bad movies-perhaps I would enjoy it. lol

I just finished the first and it was as good as I remembered. I am looking forward to watching the second one again! All the gay stuff went right over my head the first time I watched it...or maybe I did notice but didn't think anything of it. It's been a while so I can't remeber! I think one of the things I love about the Friday The 13th movies is all the 80s charm they have...from the fashion to the music and stereotypical teens! They really do have quite a few good songs in the films that just scream 80s! You are talking about Part 7! I really enjoyed that one and again great music and it features one of my favorite characters in the franchise! I really want to watch Jason X just to see how bad (good!) it is! Strangely enough...despite the third being considered the worst of the Poltergeist films...I remember liking that one the most. I think the second was the weakest of the trilogy, but they were all very good and I just love Zelda Rubinstein! I first became familiar with her in 1989's "Teen Witch"! It is unfortunate that the lead actress of the films passed away shortly after completing the third. She was a very talented young girl. Anyway, I am really excited about watching all these horror films!!!

I've only seen the first Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th, #shame I heard 50 Shades of Grey is a horror I should watch or, is that read? Not sure if I hate myself enough to face it tho. I was brave enough to read and sit Twilight once upon a time, maybe, maybe I can find the courage again. A movie I'll have to find a stream for this week is 10 Cloverfield Lane, heard the ending is kinda lame but the rest of the movie is great. Also, heard The Wailing is suppose to be pretty good and it's on Netflix too. Asian horror is pretty fuckin' A.
