Oregon Trail, I think? Though it barely counts, since we didn't have video games in the house as a kid and I only got to play at the computer lab at school, when other kids weren't hogging it.
My first video game as an adult was Final Fantasy XII. It was winter and I had a very bad bout of seasonal depression, so running around under all the sand and sun as Vaan helped out a lot.

The first console I ever owned was a Sega Megadrive and I got Mega Games 6 Vol 2 with it. Italia '90 was the first & last football game I ever played. But the first video game I ever played was asteroids, an old arcade game that was in a pub we used to go to regularly when we were on holiday and that game is what made me want to get a Megadrive. I ended up with alot of Megadrive game, my favourites being Sonic 2, Aladdin, Streets of Rage (2 & 3, 1 wasn't as good), Vectorman and James Bond 007: The Duel From the Megadrive, I went to the N64 were I was introduced to FPS games like Goldeneye and Quake & RPGs like Zelda & Pokemon then the Gamecube & PS2. The PS2 is what got me into reading gaming magazines and getting into the culture around gaming. I still remember pouring over the FFX articles before it came out. Next came the Xbox 360, which introduced me to BioWare and eventually all of you lovely folks. Now I'm on the PS4 and Switch. In between all of these consoles I've been an on & off PC gamer.

I think the first video game I played was...Age of Empires, no idea which one, when I was maybe 5? 7? Something like that. Was roped into it by mom's colleague's sons. Wasn't really good at it, strategy was never my strong suit Only remember it because it was the first though. The first game that actually stuck with me was WoW, around the time 3.3.5a patch released. Played that for a while and then my first bioware game was KotOR.

I've been an on & off WOW player for years now. Started with Classic WOW, then played until the Wrath of the Lich King, then took a break until Mists of Pandaria, played that for a bit and went back for Warlords of Draenor, which I played for a bit then quit again. I always enjoy WOW but it's much better when playing with people you know and most of the people I know who played stopped at Wrath of the Lich King and I found it hard to find a group in Mists of Pandaria & Warlords of Draenor. I only really went back after Wrath of the Lich King because I missed my Hunter. The majority of my characters were Hunters. I still do. I loved collecting all the different pets & the beastmaster skills, no other game really has a class like it.

I've split my time between DW Frost DK and SV hunter in wrath, been mostly SV hunter in cataclysm, Frost DK again during MoP, Gladiator and Frost Mage in WoD (why did they nuke gald warr, whyyyyy ) and played momentum DH until I quit during nughtmare. RNG was complete joy killer. +The fact blizz loves to nerf my favorite specs into oblivion last 2 expansions And yeah, wow is definitelly more fun if you have a fun guild or a couple of friends. Half the time I take breaks because drama kills my guild, and then it's just meh...
