A lot of hardcore gamers dislike mobile games, and I fully expect to get crucified for making this thread, but I think some of them can actually be pretty good, so this thread is for anyone who might want to discuss them with me.
I don't like puzzle game stuff, I usually prefer adventure games and RPGs, when available. Currently I play Kingdom Hearts Union X, and I'm a massive Futurama fan, so I'm really looking forward to FUTURAMA: WORLDS OF TOMORROW!
I also downloaded Final Fantasy VI, because at this point it's the only way I'm ever gonna get to play it.
Who else likes mobile games? Talk to me!

I don't like that the fairies are all female, though, lol. nocte would cry, he loves fairies.

There are some gems like mobile versions of kotor, baldur's gate, jade empire... ...but it's largely money grubbing shovelware and I wish its developers would die so I could piss on their graves

Who here plays Neko Atsume? It may be the cutest mobile game on the market. You "collect" stray cats by leaving out food and toys for them :3 It's free, though there is a microtransaction option to pay in real money for their "currency" (of fish lol), but it can be easily earned because the kitties will pay you in gifts once they visit. So, I never paid any IRL money on the app. I heard there's a Japanese movie based on the game, too. It sounds adorable. A writer moves out to the country to look for inspiration during his writer's block and depression, and finds help with the stray cats he befriends

It's cute as heck, but I always thought that it didn't have that much going on. Like, okay, you collect cats... but then what? Lol. The movie sounds cute, though.

Well... you collect cats and take pictures of them for your "catbook", and they'll leave mementos and fish for you to buy more toys and food for them, lol. It's not very interactive, and the cats are essentially using you for free food and toys, but it's very adorable. That's the appeal
