All I know about Smite it's that it's the game that brought us this dead meme skin that proves once and for all there is no loving god in this world. So I can't say I'm actually surprised there's some questionable decision making going on, trying to cash in on 15 year old jokey representations of gay guys (because the voice lines sound like the gay guys in mediocre Friday night comedy shows I watched in ca. 2000 to me; if they weren't offensive for being offensive, they would be offensive for how boring they are).

Seriously, those skins are so bad I just...have no words. ^ is the only response I am capable of doing.

Also, watch them ruin Winnie the Pooh. Wow... The more skins I see from Smite, the more I realize their creative team just sucks. None of these joke skins are funny; they're just painful.

The joke skins are almost always obnoxious, especially thanks to the voices. Even when they have cool or elegant skins, they're usually locked behind a prohibitive paywall and a limited time frame. Behold, the Archon Thanatos skin, where it transitions from a human looking cleric to many winged Archangel depending on what he's doing. The demonic pact skin for anubis, which similiarly evolves and devolves digimon style throughout the game. And Griffindwarf for Fafnir, the only video game portrayal of a dwarf that I know of where the dwarf gets to be as knightly and valiant as any non-dwarf character (in stark contrast to his usual persona, who is a huge, greedy jerk). None of those will ever be available ever again. But do they lack for portrayals that stereotype and mock latinos, black people, poor whites, Asians, Canadians, Americans, and LGBT? No, of course not.

They couldn't even get it right that Doge is a girl-dog Much edgy, such popular, many cringe, very fail. Wow. Wow... Dear Smite: The joke skins are almost always obnoxious, especially thanks to the voices. Even when they have cool or elegant skins, they're usually locked behind a prohibitive paywall and a limited time frame. No, of course not. Now that just crosses the line
