So I missed the multiclass stream tonight and it sucks cuz apparently the devs did a bit of talking about romances. OF COURSE ID MISS THAT ONE. Anyway this is what someone who did watch it left in the comments. Did I hear that correctly? An on-screen dev confirmation of romances/player and companion romance dialogue in #Deadfire?  Im watching the stream now and Josh just said there's going to be tons more companion dialogue and chatter, and characters just chiming in during situations in general is going to be more of a thing. AHHH!  |

Trying to find who's writing the various characters. I think Aloth is Carrie Patel and Eder apparently has a contract writer named Eric Fenstermaker.

Josh Sawyer is writing Pallegina. So that's cool! They're the only characters I can find confirmations for lol maybe because they're the only 3 returning characters and people asked about them the most.   Another PoE2 livestream tonight, I'll be watching it. |

Watching the live stream makes me so excited for the game. It also makes me want to replay POE. I think I still need to set up my 'perfect' game. It's been long enough since I played it that I'm not sure what states any of my saves are in. |

A couple nights ago I went through my completed game saves for PoE1 and made a notepad doc for all the general info/world state for each of my Watchers playthroughs, and possible romance pairings IN PREPERATION.  i'd also like to add that priest spells in PoE2 are now just as sexy looking as wizard spells and it pleases me. |

We're still in the dark regarding who is actually romanceable haha, which makes me think Obsidian isn't going to reveal who the romance options even are or their orientation. Unless they pull a Bioware and release some kind of DAI prelaunch romance option confirmation chart lol. I'm guessing they're going to let us just find out ingame? Even if knowing beforehand is preferable to a lot of people. Then again, they still have a couple months before launch I believe, so maybe they'll talk about it at some point! |

I'm mega happy for everyone, but I'm also scared and sad POE 2 won't get ported to console. I'm still waiting for Tyranny. I know PC is the "master race" or whatever the heck computer enthusiasts call it, but I personally enjoy PS4 better. And that's what games are about, all of us personally enjoying ourselves. I can't stay sad for long though, because even if none of those ever get ported, I'm grateful to get POE. I started off crushing on Aloth, but Edér has slowly but surely made me fall in love with him  Also, pets. I never looked twice at this game, then I heard I could have a ZOMBIE CAT and immediately tossed 60 dollars into my account. (Plus tax. Used to not have tax on PS store. I hate tax.) Literally the only reason I bought this game, but I'm staying for the incredible story. |
