Season 1 of Marvel's Runaways is not over yet but we're 9 episodes in so I think there is more than enough to discuss. I'm a major fan of the comics but I recognise that things in the comics need to be changed when they are being adapted for T.V. and so far I like most of their changes.
They have kept most of the good stuff and made some interesting (and sometimes necessary) changes from the source material.
Rest of my thoughts are in spoliers

Given the fact that Molly and her parents couldn't be mutants cos Fox owns/owned that term at the time of writing the show, I think they did a good job of giving Molly the exact same powers as she had in the comic, complete with her having to fall asleep after using them, with that limitation. I also think it was a very good idea of age her up a few years, a 12 year old hanging out with teens in a comic is fine but it is weird in a T.V. show.
Speaking of things that are fine in a comic but too ridiculous for T.V. - the Gibborim. In the comic were elder gods mentioned in the old testament trapped in another dimension, comics are weird in general and the Gibborim aren't even that weird for comics but I can't think of a way to have them in a show and them not be completely stupid, so the decision to remove them but use their name for the cult as an easter egg for fans was in IMO a good one.
Chase actually being smart, but just very practical so he doesn't test well was a welcome change from the comic, I always wanted him to be more than a kind hearted jock type and this adds to his character.
Nico Minoru, Gert & Molly are all perfect.
I love Karolina. I think they did a great job of indicating that she was gay but in the closet from the first episode.
weirdly though some people seemed to have been surprised by her sexuality - straight people really need to have stuff spelled out to them. I mean she couldn't be more uncomfortable when Chase kisses her and people started shipping them?
A kiss comparison
Also her powers make her glow like a rainbow, which is a bit on the nose.
I do find the decision not to have them runaway yet a bit odd though, I mean it is the name of the show and it means that Alex's strategic genius has yet to shine though, so he is just the tech guy. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with him but it looks like that will be a season 2 plotline.
Not having them actually runaway did give us more time to see their relationship with their parents, which was nice, it is more complicated and less outright antagonistic than it is in the comics.
