I seriously need a thread to spam with him so - DADAAA - my first thread on this site ever is just for him.

So who is he?
Porter Gage - or just Gage - is part of the Nuka World DLC and your new Companion if you decide to help the Raiders. I know that's no easy choice and many people are just go to nuka world to kill the bad guys, but I swear to you - Gage is it worth it to give him a try. ~~And tbh often I just went to Nuka World, get him and then I'm gone, the park never sees me again, Preston still loves me and Gage still tells me that I'm a great boss.~~

Gage is a stinky old Raider, but no heartless monster. I don't wanna spoil something, so I just say that I really like his affinity talks.

For sure his affinity talks are amazing, my favorite out of all the companions. I went into Nuka World with very little expectations, but man did Porter Gage blow those away. I really couldn't care less for the other raiders in Nuka World. I really wish there was an option to convince him to leave that place behind, and we could just wander off out of the commonwealth to start over somewhere new.

Me too! At first I was pretty sure I will clean the place but I was curious about the Raider Quests and I regret nothing.

I also started to like some of the raiders (mostly the Operators and of course RedEye because this guy is a stinky treasure) so in the end I only killed the Raiders once and kept Gage via console because I'm weak. :'D

There should really be an option for this! The Raiders are hating him, Nisha is ready to skin him alive and only waits for your ok. But he still helps them, even when you are his best friend / romance him. There should be some red charisma talking to convince him or a quest or something. He is old, let him have his peace. :I

I've only done Nuka World once and invoked the Rite of Righteous Indignation so I never got to see what he was like. I guess I really need to make my play style a bit more nuanced.
