My favorite species of gaylien is the Turians, mostly because Turian women are hot and because most of the gayliens so far have been either Turian or Asari. I love Turians, so I'm definitely ready for more of them. However, I think we definitely need some non-Turian-or-Asari gayliens.
Vetra is my fave, and she's bi. Mordin also gave me gaylien vibes, kinda. I shipped him with Wrex. In terms of my non-faves, Garrus and Thane should have been bi. Drack also should have been gay/bi. Considering how popular Krogans are with the LGBT male fanbase, we really should have a gay Krogan dude. Considering the franchise is on ice rn, that might not ever happen, though.
For a couple different reasons, I'd probably be a Quarian.

My favorite gaylien species are Quarian and Drell. I think Thane and Jaal should have been bi. Evfra should definitely be our's. If there's a Quarian Ark DLC, I really want a male Quarian LI from it, but a Drell would also be good. I have concepts in mind for both. I don't know what gaylien species I would be.  |

My favourite species would be Turian and Angara, though a Krogan would also be pretty nice. I think Jaal, Garrus, and Thane should have definitely been bi, some for Tali. Though I'll still cling to the idea of gay Evfra who's just repressing his feelings for Ryder because he's so grumpy.  As for species I'd be - likely Krogan. They like to headbutt when they have problems and don't take shit. If not, I'd probably be a Turian because they're spikey and badass. |

I guess if I was gonna fuck a gaylien, I would go with either Quarian or Drell. I'm leaning towards Drell because I know what I'm getting, whereas Quarian males might look like Sloth from Goonies for all I know (I wouldn't put it past BioWare to pull that, tbh. >_>)
I really wanna see Krogan junk, though. They keep teasing me with talk of their extra gonads.

My favorite species would probably be the Turians, probably because I liked Garrus so much.
If I had the chance to remake the trilogy, I'd make Garrus, Tali, and Thane bi. Not a gaylien, but I'd give Ashley the same treatment. This way, bi/gay men and bi/gay women would both have two alien squadmates, one human squadmate, and one human crew member as available romances.
As for which one I'd be...that's tough. Probably a Quarian for several reasons.

What is your favorite species of gaylien?
My favorite species of gaylien in the Mass Effect Universe would be Krogan, Angaran and Turian with a special mention for Drell.
Krogan
I like Krogan very much because of their complicated history & biology, their general blunt attitude and for their struggle to reclaim/restore their species. Oh, and they have a quad, a quad guys.
Angaran
I just generally really like the way Angaran men look appearance wise. Although I'll admit they look even better in the original concept art than in the actual game. Still, the general implied open-mindedness sounds appealing, as does their voices.
Turian
The Turians were my original gaylien crush. Mainly because of Garrus Vakarian in the OT. Later on, the concept of the species in general became very interesting to me.
Drell
Finally, the Drell as both individuals as well as their entire species are a bit mysterious and illusive. In my opinion the original trilogy should have used them to a much greater extent. Hopefully any future Mass Effect game will do so. Especially if it's located in the Heleus Cluster, both Eos and Elaadan seem like planets that would be very favorable towards Drell physiology.
Who are some of you favorite characters that are or should be gayliens?
Of those that exist and that should be a gay/bi option I'd say Drack, Garrus, Thane, Kal'Regaar, Jaal, Kandros, Avitus and Evfra. For me personally Evfra de Tershaav would be the 'gayest' of them all. Something about him screams 'I like men' at least the character does so to me.
If you were a gaylien, which species would you be?
I would be either a exploring Krogan or an Angaran scientist.

Yay, the gayliens thread is back  My first choice for gaylien would be Batarians because I deserve a super rough guy who just wants to redeem and save his people godammit! I feel, out of the secondary races, they were the most fleshed out and that's probs why it's so annoying we never got a proper perspective on them. Even a squaddie in ME3 would've been great. It's a missed opportunity to me. Apart from that, Turians and Kett (despite uh...everything) are my most popular picks, since they're just so cute. I would've liked for Bioware to have taken a different route with the Kett, not have them be collector ripoffs, and make the conflict between them, the angara and the Milkies actually nuanced like they said. It's - not hard - but a weird thing to talk abut which of my fave alien squaddies should've been open to Manshep. I think it's mainly because I'm not a big fan of Manshep in the first place. But I think Garrus should've been open to him, since his relationship with Femshep is identical apart from the romantic aspects. And Tali too for Femshep, who even has some ambiguously romantic lines for her! And if they had given a proper romance ark for Javik, I think he would've been a great romance for either Shep. Also, gay strip clubs! Mass Effect is a lesser series for not having pole dancing Krogan! As for what I'd be as a gaylien? I think Drell or Quarian (but maybe not since I also want biotics and I don't think they'd ever be exposed to eezo). EDIT: Whoops almost forgot: I WANNA CHUCK JAAL'S BENGIS! |

But it's the kind of holding out that I won't be too sad if it doesn't happen because I'm kinda over MEA in general.
