There were some dudebros on reddit who admitted to really liking Dorian's romance despite being straight. I was browsing one of the Bioware subreddits once and I even stumbled on this guy who was equally upset about both romanced Cassandra potentially leaving Male!Inquisitor and romanced Dorian always leaving Male!Inquisitor to the point he started using all caps and getting incoherent towards the end.  But I imagine that we're talking beyond just a minority of dudebros who got invested. I don't know if we're quite at the stage yet where an explicitly gay/bi male character will be a fan favorite of that crowd without them trying to go through mental gymnastics about how "he's not actually gay/bi." How will we know if we don't get more variety of gay characters. And while a gaylien might not incite a positive response, let's not pretend that a long haired blonde, short, cute, adorkable (but also badass), lean feminine gay lad wouldn't interest a lot of straight but maaaybe curious guys. I mean, Bridget from GG and Link seem to be one of those gay loopholes with a lot of " straight " men. This is my own observation though. Are they both explicitly, canonically gay? Because I feel that makes a difference here. |

You know there is massive problem when I'm thirsty for Drell yet never played any ME game besides Andromeda and the first mission of ME1. I always had a thing for aliens that have those Drell qualities. Anyone know of any good Tumblr that provide m/m gaylien fanart?

I have to admit that I've never been a fan of the alien romances. Never did much for me. Maybe because Shepard was limited to humans only and the same has been true for Scott. Though I did read a mShrex (Shepard/Wrex) fanfic that was kind of hot, and I also saw a "Male Shepard teaches Grunt about sex" thing on Rule 34, but generally they just don't do it for me. But feel free to post pictures that might convince me otherwise.  |

It was cool seeing straight guys say they met him and were tempted to ditch their existing LIs. lol Yes, a straight friend of mine playing as Scott ditched Peebee for Reyes. |

I know Turians are popular but they just look too far from human for me.
I would probably romance a quarian if the mask comes off and they're really hot or a drell but that's pushing my limits of "more animal than human".
I kinda wish there was an asari type (except 2 gender) race that are basically human with different colour skin and maybe some extra bits. But of course they'll never make hot alien males if they can help it.
