I want a quarian gaylien. I thought Kenn, the poor guy in ME2 who is stuck on Omega, was adorable. My dream would be to have someone similar to him in MEA2 that my Scott could fall for. Hell, it would be interesting to see Kenn himself in MEA2 since the timeline works out that he could have joined the Andromeda Initiative after Shepard helps him. A Quarian gaylien would be awesome. Tali got adorable-little-sister-substitute-zoned for me pretty quickly, but I absolutely adore Shala'Raan vas Tonbay. That voice.  Their backstory is pretty interesting, too. Despite having given up on Andromeda about halfway through before getting to romance anyone, I think Vetra is adorable. So was Nyreen (ugly crying). So, Turians are also premier gayliens. Aside from that - blue waifus 4 life. :  |

At this point in time, if Mass Effect continues their trend of zero queer male alien characters, any alien design and race I've created or I've found created by another artist (with gay alien characters) isn't something I'd like to see in that universe. With how things went, I'd expect another straight-wash. Oh no, keep away from my gayliens... |

At this point in time, if Mass Effect continues their trend of zero queer male alien characters, any alien design and race I've created or I've found created by another artist (with gay alien characters) isn't something I'd like to see in that universe. With how things went, I'd expect another straight-wash. Oh no, keep away from my gayliens... Funny enough, it reminds me a bit of an all-male ogre race in an RPG I once tried out years ago. The way they reproduce is that they occasionally go into heat, emitting pheromones to attract females of other races, and these couplings produce mostly boys, who will always be ogres. The rare girls fathered by ogres are always the race of their mothers. From what I recall the lore states that this is a natural occurrence in every ogre's life cycle. While admittedly I do find their biology somewhat fascinating, at the same time it basically means that no ogre can ever be exclusively homosexual over his entire lifetime -- I roll an ogre character whom I want to be as gay as a unicorn prancing under a rainbow, but know that he will be compelled to engage in straight sex at some point in his life...and that's kinda shitty. |
