Personally, I'd rather see an alternate history WW3 Battlefield game set sometime during the Cold War era. |

I dunno, they did a pretty damn good job with WW1. I think a WW2 shooter on that scale could get pretty crazy.

I'd love to see them feature some parts of the war that haven't gotten a ton of attention in other AAA shooters - the Aleutian Campaign, the China-Burma-India Theater, the Italian Campaign, the North Africa campaign, the Free French Forces outside of Europe, the Balkan Campaign and Operation Harling, etc. That said, I'm not looking forward to the inevitable wave of Wehrmacht apologists and folks who don't seem to get that the second world war was not, in fact, exclusively fought by white men.
