I'm putting Cyberpunk back on the ignore list for now. it's a long time till it comes out, and I have no desire to get hyped about a game I don't trust to give good gay content. I'm really excited about Assassin's Creed Odyssey though!

And I was being totally serious guys, what colour hair does Ellie have? I know this was answered a couple times already, but her hair looks on the darker side of auburn to me. which makes her freckles even cuter! i have auburn hair and some freckles irl too |

Nice. I'm so hyped for this game, this is a terrific bonus tho.  honestly that's how I play Fallout always in first person, same with Elder Scrolls-so it's not a big deal for me. However, I also hope they do a third person perspective for those who prefer it. Myself I found Bethesda's third person view really awkward though. Same. I do switch to the 3rd person however when I want to see what my PCs outfit looks like/when I need to grab some screenies.

Wait wait wait.. WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT!?!?! Cyberpunk and gay/bi romances?!?! This is the most unexpected thing from this E3! Lol I'm a little sceptical cuz it's CD Project, but damn at least they try! I know it would not make any sense that Cyberpunk would not have romances for all, but still crazy happy about it! Wow, great times are coming, AC Odyssey, Greedfall, Cyberpunk and who knows what esle!  BW wake up and give us DA4 too! Congrats all!   Yep, this E3 2018 is the most gay one for sure lol  |

I think the scariest thing for me in Friday the 13th-was just hoping no one noticed how bored I was by the excessive female nudity.  I TOTALLY GET THIS!!! It's hard trying to pretend I'm not interested in all the cute guys around people I haven't come out to haha. I disagree, Dragon Age Inquisition was a step backward for quality content for gay male romances in my opinion. Dragon Age 2 was not only more balanced-but the romances were given much more even content and no matter which you picked you didn't feel like you were being short changed in some major element. Inquisition didn't do that in my opinion. Only females can get a wedding in trespasser (even then only 2 of the options she has). Only straight players can romance the major plot characters. etc etc. Yeah, totally agree! ...And let us not forget that females got not one...but TWO knights to romance while gay men got none for the third game in a row. My poor heart...  At least Anders was important to the story and a returning character. Same with Isabela.
I'm really excited about Assassin's Creed Odyssey though! Haha aren't we all?  I can easily see it being my game of the year and potentially one of my favorite games.
I'm cautiously optimistic about Cyberpunk because I like what I've seen...but if m/m content is handled poorly I will be pretty bitter. |

I played through the entire first game via SharePlay with a friend, and only at the very end was I made aware that her hair was red(ish). I don't remember exactly how it got brought up, but I thought it was brown, and my friend was basically like "What? It's red, you're blind." Nice, I'm jealous. My freckles are subtle (didn't even know I had them until my girlfriend pointed it out to me) and I have really boring brown hair. My ex has auburn hair and some freckles, so it goes without saying that I like both, heh.
This. I hope they put as much effort into the Cyberpunk romances as they did into Geralt's romances in terms of depth. And I also hope they don't just focus on straight male romance scenes with greater care LIKE MEA lol... In other words, I hope having a gender choice protag doesn't make them cut corners. A DA2 situation would work well here - four fleshed out options, evenly divided between male and female, all bisexual.
That, but with the caveat that the animations make sense in all paths. I mean, come on. Why does most Greedfall news seem to be in French? Is Spiders French? Anyway, shame the article didn't describe the two companions they used. My primary takeaway from the article was that there would be a tactical camera (or at least pausing to use abilities), so that's cool. It also said a decent number of active abilities are available, but you can switch them out in tactical pause, unlike DA:I.
I'm a little sceptical in this regard, because it's their first attempt and I still know how unbalanced it was back in the old Biowares games.But it's still a moment of joy, because they finally did it! They're going to add romance options for everyone. So I'll wait and see how this turns out to be. It shows me, that they care. I definitely have an eye on this now.I'll be convinced they care when they have an even number of romances for everyone with even content and effort put into them. So far, they could easily do things in an extremely skewed fashion, but try to earn brownie points at the same time because hey, they included the female PC and LGB romances. Like ME:A. And as we know, you can't earn brownie points from us if you don't truly respect us. Simply being included isn't good enough anymore (not that it ever was). We need to be treated the same as anyone else. On that note, I'm not going to give them any more leeway just because it's their first attempt at gender-selection and non-straight-guy romances. I know it's cliché, but it's 2018, and equality isn't hard. Not to mention they have examples to look to if they need them. If they do well, they'll have my respect. If they don't, I won't excuse them.
I wouldn’t say JUST the first Bioware games. (LOOKS AT THE GAME WHICH SHALL NOT BE NAMED) It's sad that there aren't actually any Bioware games that are perfectly equal (and extra sad that ME:A regressed). DA2 is the closest, but that's by default. DA:I would have been the first equal game, numbers-wise, if it didn't add Solas and Cullen. I fully support them doing so, though (and they're super popular, which shows they obviously don't have a great grasp on what straight women want, since neither were options originally), I just wish they made both bi. A game where straight women and gay men, of all groups, get the most romance content? Hell yeah. As guys who've romanced Zevran can attest, an NPC saying they prefer one gender has no benefit and will simply make whoever isn't that gender feel terrible. But NPCs actually caring about, say, your general morality, or even liking your outfit, hair, eye colour, whatever - that would be really cool and is something I've suggested for forever. Every time they say something, it just raises more questions. I'm a little surprised they answered this much so early, though, so that's good. I also share Drell's fears that most of the non-bi options are straight, and it's mostly females who are bi. The phrasing of "many of the characters you can romance" implies there are quite a few to begin with, though I'm sure a lot of those are less "romances" and more "have sex with". If there were, say, 8 (like DA:I), 4 bi options, 2 gay, and 2 straight, even across gender, would be ideal. Not that I expect that.
