Reading stuff over on the official site and here it seems like I made the right call on waiting for a price drop. All those bugs and no way load back to a previous game state. Not a great combo. I had a feeling that one save thing was a poor choice. I don't think their vision of your choices matter no way back style is worth bricking whole playthroughs for. Especially not great if the save file can be corrupted easily. But but...I really want to play this game. oy!

Only real complain is I can't move camera angle in conversation scene if I use mouse+keyboard while gamepad and other platform can.
And I copy autosave everyday in case of unwant consequence (and file corrupt of course).

Only just started to play it. The combat has taken me a bit of time to get used to, and I'm really not a fan of those games where you have to craft up everything yourself. I find myself procrastinating about leveling up/crafting for weapons, and just hoarding everything I've found so far. I'm only a few hours into it but I'm mostly enjoying it other than that. Though as for leveling him up, I've no idea what's best ability wise right now so I'm hoping I don't regret putting points into this or that. Especially as from what I've read, leveling up is going to be slow and painful as I'm not nomming on civilians. I hope I don't regret eating a few rats though.

You'll still earn thousands of xp i assure you, if you're thorough

You'll still earn thousands of xp i assure you, if you're thorough I hope so. In my thoroughness and love of exploring, just after arriving at the hospital it led me into an encounter I started panicking over. I was freaking out when the screen first turned red and I had no choice but to lead the guy to a shadowy spot. I was so relieved to see the option to just let him go. The whole time I was worrying I'd somehow pressed the wrong button.
I'm just hoping the whole hint thing won't be too annoying. I've already read about people saying they were locked out of stuff because of failing a hint or something, but apparently that just makes their blood quality better so I don't think it'll be too bad for me if I don't plan to eat anyone. I'm hoping to play a bit more tomorrow.

I found it interesting that Dr. Swansea and Ichabod is voiced by the same guy who voiced the m!Inquisitor's British voice.

I played a little more and I swear I spent most of the time running around in circles on the map trying to figure out how to get to an objective before giving up in sheer frustration. The amount of locked doors or gates didn't help. At one point I got so terrible lost it likely took me over twenty minutes to find my way back to the Hospital.
I can also never tell when the game is auto saving so I did as much as I could and then went and 'slept' because that would surely trigger an auto save right and then when I woke up suddenly seven people all had fatigue at once and oh god please just let me side quest in peace, I just want to explore. Everything looks so similar I just get utterly lost and run into the same hunters ten times who I then kill in sheer frustration because they keep shooting at me and all I want to do is find the right way. Please leave me alone I'm so tired I don't want to fight you.
Loving the story and characters I've seen so far but holy hell am I terrible at navigating the map.

Finally finish game! My Jonathan complete Pacifist run at Level23. Fall many time but finally win the game in 40 hours. Normally Lv for pacifist run should be 24 or 25 but I left some citizen quest behind and Lost about 4000 XP to Turn 3 NPC character to Vampire (all Male). About Jonathan romance As predict, He fall in love with a woman in the game. Which I find not convincing because they know each other less than a month. A bit disappoint that developer force me to kiss a woman in game.
LGBT character I can confirm that Vampyr have gay character, not one but couple. I saw them kiss with my own eye. Two canon kiss from both M/F and M/M is somewhat satisfied me.
Not sure if they have another LGBT in game or not. Next playthrough I will be more a bit blood lust

Noooo now he'll be an elitist asshole forever, if you gather two hints about him you can convince him to die on his own and he gives all his money to the sick and poor before he dies. Turning McCullum into a vampire is absolutely the coolest way to go though...because then him and Jonathan could end up together one day

Nearing the end of Chapter 3 and I still hate the map and random doors/gates being locked so I have to run around in circles until I find the right area. I think it will limit any replay value I have for this game because I hate being so frustrated. Meeting McCullum for the first time was A+ though. Dat voice. I did read ending spoilers though- Uggggh. I've been rather antagonistic toward the Lady so far, so I can only imagine how forced that 'romance' is going to feel.

McCullum is hot but why does he have to be a douche. Also I hate that the game pushes a mandatory hetero romance on us Apparently you can avoid a kiss in the end game, by killing/turning at least one person LOOKS AT MCCULLUM, if guides are to believed (but there is conflicting information)

Did you get the lock in castle end or?
Yeah McCullum will learn to not hate himself and all the "good" vampires, I want this fan fic.

Dude I'm saying the final playable chapter is you going to the castle, and yes one good ending is going America together and the other is staying in castle together
They always confess love and kiss as far as i know, then she either lives or dies

Also I literally rather Jonathan fall in love with Sean Hampton than Ashbury I don't even care. He's pretty easy on the eyes (after getting cured of the Skal bs?/Before the Skal bs) and he has a beard.

Also considerin Dr. Swansea is a nice dude that's chill w Jonathan they might as well date. Literally there's so many options other than Lady Ashbury but they had to go w JUST her. If there was a choice it wouldn't be so sjdhakhdklajdla but there isn't and uGH
This game allows you to choose who to kill and who to turn but not who you kiss/don't kiss. ok.
