I just started chapter 4 and I'm already rolling my eyes and space barring. Why the hell did they have to go the forced romance option. Do I really have to go eat people just so this crap doesn't happen.
It was really unneeded, the characters and plot would work just fine without this, and it feels so damn forced. My Reid went from being as untrusting and antagonising toward her as the game allowed, to making goo-goo eyes and sitting all close together. This has highly soured my interest in continuing. Edit: I just watched the various endings to decide if I wanted to continue or not. Nope, fuck that, I'm out. I'm going to get as far as the McCullum fight, turn him, and head canon the rest. Ugh, and I was so excited for this game but those endings totally ruin it for me. |

You turned the old rich fuck into a vampire? Noooo now he'll be an elitist asshole forever, if you gather two hints about him you can convince him to die on his own and he gives all his money to the sick and poor before he dies. Turning McCullum into a vampire is absolutely the coolest way to go though...because then him and Jonathan could end up together one day  I don't know that option will count the same to KILL or not, so i have to play save by turn him to vampire.
Reason is the same to why I turn Swansea. I can't like him anymore after know the truth. Not hate but definitely can be only just some friend to him.
McCullum seem to see the good in Jonathan after he turn. So that's start of love

Well...I was very interested in this game...but finding out the protagonist is straight and there is a mandatory romance totally destroyed any interest.
I have no interest in playing as a straight protagonist in an RPG game with choices no matter how well they may have handled their gay characters.
Maybe if it is ever on sale, I'll pick it up...but for now I'd rather put my money elsewhere...which a shame because it looked really good!

I just don’t have enough time in my life to play all the games that I want. So I’ve made a personal policy to not play straight-only romance games anymore. There are enough no romance and same sex romance games out there to keep me interested. |

I got as far as I wanted to in the game, given everything else that happens, and I like that McCullum seems to chill a little more depending on how you do things.
(Fraps hated this game so it cuts off at the end.)
But I think I'm done now. I'm sure I could think up a far better ending. |
