You must remove the point (.) in a.rticles, then the links works fine. : ) I think the best approach for me is all characters being bisexual, but with different preferences. Some characters should equally love men/women, others should prefer one gender or the other (als long as it's not always the opposite gender). And some characters shouldn't openly flirt with other characters at all and be more privat about love and affection. One can actually tell many great and different storys about bisexuals. Problem is, however, that most devs make the bisexual male characters straight-but-gay-for-you. Or they are always the same, no matter which gender you play. I think Bioware did a really great job with Jaal in this regard after the patch came out. Romancing hm with Scott felt different from Sara, but it wasn't less quality. But that's just my personal opinion of course. cant call jaal a perfect bi option though, considering he never flirts with other males or talks about them hmmm I agree, but I think that's not a problem about Jaal per se, but a problem about bi-representation in Bioware games in general. I think it's okay, if some bisexual people prefer one sex over the other. The problem is however, that it's always the opposite sex that bisexual male characters in (Bioware) games prefer. But I agree that Jaal should have given at least once or twice a hint that he likes dudes as well. It would have been better if he was bi from the beginning. Then maybe they would have let him mention it at some point during the game, just like they did with Reyes. What I mean with "Jaal being a good bi option" is, that romancing him with Scott felt different from romancing him with Sara. It wasn't a copy paste job and Scott didn't have less content. It was just different content, but nevertheless, it felt as great as romancing him with the female protagonist. But yeah, that Jaal didn't mention any interest in dudes besides Scott was lame. |

If he's a romance and he's V's partner, I would hope they'd have him be bi, as that'd be pretty shitty otherwise. Though it totally wouldn't surprise me either. Oh, likely one of the first people you meet AND a romance/fling/flirt/whatever choice? Straight.  Though I do hope this company wouldn't do that to us if they're putting in any effort to add same sex choices. |

I'm glad they've clarified things a bit more on the romance front! I remember awhile back, the devs stated they wanted this game to be for everyone to play. Like sure, a looot of people played and enjoyed the Witcher 3, but I think they're completely aware that not everyone was drawn in to wanting to play as a fixed protag like Geralt. I think they've been totally on board from the start with Cyberpunk to reach as big an audience as possible. The fact they're working so closely with Mike Pondsmith ( the creator of Cyberpunk) and making sure they stay true to the subject material on every front, (including the fact that the cyberpunk universe is and always was inclusive and diverse), is good to hear. |

HAHAHAHA XD In all seriousness, all bi route is the best option imo, if it is done nicely A++++++++++ (POE2 is best example imo) and even if it's done bad well you have the options you want to tell your own story and roleplay freely without worries. I don't know why representation is better than feeling included with a character that is tied with the plot, has a lot of content and proper romances. Dorian, Steve and Gil are sooooooooo worthless to me as LIs. OFC this is my personal take on the matter, many others love them, but I dont (I dont like them as LIs, but I like them as characters). As long as there is representation with NPCs I'm good and even if that's not the case, as long as I can smooch the dude I want I'm fiiiiiine because I feel included in my personal story.  edit. Also, it seems not everyone is bi on this game, so let's see how deep this game goes for gay/lesbian characters. Wait what theres bi options in this game wtf. Im honestly quite surprised cuz my experience with Witcher 3 players, is just super straight dudes, proud of their super straight protagonist. So kudos to them in opening themselves to a different audience and now im very interested.

Welp.
I now just discovered that this game is played in first person perspective and that automatically rules me out. I'm pretty saddened by this. I actually can't play any kind of first person perspective games without this persistent urge to vomit because the visuals and motions would make me dizzy as all get out...
You guys just tell me how it goes and I'll live vicariously through you...
