This was a great comic years ago when Peter David created it. A really fun read as comic books were moving to the Dark Side.
This new book coming out is written by Brian Michael Bendis. His specialty seems to be tearing apart all that is good and making it into a twisted mockery. Seems to be what he does best. He destroyed the Avengers and was behind "No More Mutants" which also destroyed the X-Men and started us down the road to mutants dying off and being replaced by the Inhumans. (One exception was Ultimate Spider-Man, but even there he (a high school teen!)was killed off and replaced with Miles Morales, who was actually pretty good.)
I'm thinking YJ is going to be full of angst and death. I especially think so because DC just killed off Kid Flash and Red Arrow. 😥
