It should be able to, but depending on how they do the “improved” graphics they could be surprisingly intensive on a pc. A lot of rereleases and re masters can be weirdly optimized and not run super great on any PC. But there probably will be settings to turn some crud off. Ambient Occlusion notoriously is memory intensive when added in a remaster and is usually kind of ugly unless taking screenshots where you want strong shadows.

I really wish BioWare would do the right thing for us, but it seems they are hell-bent against restoring the cut content. They decided they don't need us anymore-or that we'll just take whatever we can get.

Not patching in the Male Shepard/Kaidan romance, most likely, in which case, this angry queer doesn't care, and, amazingly, is only MORE pissed than before, if they could put in some new content but not the ONE, SIMPLE REQUEST that we've been making for the years that this remaster has been teased...

I heard the reason they're not patching in Kaidan/MShep for ME1 was because they didn't record the dialogue for a three way confrontation between Ash, Kaidan and Liara, I wonder how that would have went if they recorded it and if Shepard has the option to ask for a foursome like they have the option to ask for a threesome with Kaidan/Liara or Ash/Liara

Oh no, a lack of a confrontation scene, how horrible. Clearly this would be the lynchpin of the whole relationship and is 100% justifiable for not including. </sarcasm>
Again, if there is a LINE of new content, this is no fucking excuse. Hell, given everything, I'm almost positive that the VAs in question would, in a heartbeat, come in for like a day player wage or something for the pick up dialogue - remember how the Extended Cut had the VAs come back in - meaning everyone in the main cast, both Shepards, the companions, Seth Green, Lance Henriksen - to do pick up dialogue for like minimum, or the patch that gave us BroRyder/Jaal.
THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE.
(For the record, not lashing out at anyone here, this ain't anything any of us are responsible for, we'd all consider it a priority to include. I'm just a very VERY bitter mountain of salt right now.)

I don't even know if I should keep talking about this game at this point? I mean I fear people will just think I'm being too negative again. I just can't think of anything else to add to this point without stating how disappointed I am. Yet, I want to take part in the conversation.  But anywho...yeah like dgcatanisiri said-that reasoning is just not a proper excuse. I don't need a scene like that, because I only romance Kaidan anyway. Plus it worked just fine in the base game without that scene...again-I don't romance those others. |

The only reason I ever got that stupid 'you need to choose between us' scene in the past is because Liara somehow ninjamanced my Shepard despite him being a non stop bastard to her, so of course when Kaidan showed up to confront him on it, it was such a ??? moment. I would hope they would have fixed that shit if nothing else.  But as of now I've no intention to get this remaster unless some modder works a miracle on it, and even then it'd be bargain basement price before I touch it. If Bioware can't be bothered to add in the minimal effort then they're not getting my money. |

The ps3 version of Mass Effect 2 was created with the understanding that 1 would never come to ps3 (even though it did eventually), so they just defaulted in Liara (cause BioWare). Sadly they didn't even care that you could pick Kaidan or Ash as your romance in the comic (Cause BioWare). You'd THINK that they would have fixed that with the patch that induded in ME1 transfer, but again..."who would push her off" mentality was not a feature they gained in next-gen game deving. It was always there!

Whenever I replay ME1 I honestly leave getting Liara until the last possible moment just so I can skip as many of those forced bonding moments as possible. It still skeeves me out so much. The one time I didn't use a mod to romance Kaidan from the start, I had Ashley ninjamance me instead (though Virmire swiftly fixed that) and I ignored Liara completely. I know sometimes people say that having the hearts/obvious flirt options isn't 'organic' but I'll take a clear, obvious flirt prompt, over being ninjamanced just because I was either nice, or because things were buggy.  |

I do the same, plus it's kind of funny how confused Liara is if you save her dead last.  Absolutely! I need those heart icons/clear indication of romance line! Also would love a lot less flirt options that aren't clearly labeled (half of Peebee's talking options were flirts despite the system in place!) I swear BioWare has to at some point in the future accept that not everyone is attracted to Asari! It has to happen right? |
