You know, I've been wondering about something. Is Legendary Edition being remastered in UnrealEngine 4 or the upcoming UnrealEngine5? Asking this 'cause afaik, UnrealEngine itself is pretty good for modding and such.

It seems I'm in the minority here but this actually gets me a bit excited for the future of the series! I've been so much in the mood for a new BioWare game - or an experience like it anyway! If this remaster actually ends up being good then I'd love to buy it because we've been talking about how we want to play the trilogy again! Of course if it does end up that they're not going to restore bisexual Kaidan romance from the start I might just go for the original PC versions so I can get the mod that was made available.
Still, it is good to know that work is continuing on another game because I'd love to see more from this franchise.
It probably is still a long wait before anything official is revealed for the next game but it's something to look forward to!

VFerreira93 that's a good question, I hope it is put in a modding friendly engine. Since unfortunately we didn't get a lot of modding through Andromeda. |

A summary for anyone wondering, Bioware released a book with 25 years of history of development on the studio, and it seems a portion has what seems to be artwork for the new game:

We just finished Andromeda so it's really exciting to think about the next game and what it may bring!
I really don't know what I'd want from it yet - but it's just nice to know something is on the way!

I hope the replacement will be more progressive especially when it comes to gay male content. I'm pretty tired of having the same stick in every game.

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE I AM SO EXCITED I THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA ABANDON ANDROMEDA BUT MAYBE NOT!!!!
...But I guess no Ryder for the protagonist? If not, hope they wrap up loose ends....and give Gil some real love...

Oh man, I just saw this and now I am all  It wouldn't even have to be set that many years later, they can make something up about SAM/Jardaan/Space Magic/whatever and handwave a way to travel between the 2 galaxies. But really, that teaser hyped me up big time, and I know I shouldn't be because concepts can completely change and I'll probably be a grandmother by the time this comes out. |

Wow, if there was one thing that could kill my enthusiasm dead in its tracks for a new Mass Effect, it ABSOLUTELY was Liara. I had more than enough of her in the original trilogy, and, while I was okay with her voice cameo in Andromeda, I have NO interest in seeing her again.
