If we’re one step closer to a new KOTOR style game I am down, but I honestly only like KOTOR 1 as a vessel for nostalgia, trying to replay that game as an adult is painful. But I could see this being good to get a new generation of kids into KOTOR Star Wars as a franchise as from my experience younger Star Wars fans wanting an rpg Star Wars game don’t wanna touch KOTOR 1/2 cause they look and feel antiquated.

I'd been calling for a KOTOR remake to tie in with the whole "The High Republic" thing happening, so I'm at least paying a mind to this.
I can't say that a lot of my still burning love for KOTOR isn’t wrapped up in nostalgia for what it was at that time, as opposed to what it is now - a lot of what are now standard BioWare tropes were fresh and new then, and so on. Still, I'm honestly down for it, provided that they make something akin to the Restoration Mod base game in KOTOR 2. Give that game a proper ending on the console, please.

I have a request of anyone involved in remastering KOTOR. PLEASE do something about the Selkath dialogue. More sound clips, translate it entirely, turn down the volume, something, ANYTHING. It's just so abrasive and irritating, and Manaan has so much time spent having to hear the same two or three audio clips back to back...
