I got Horizon: Zero Dawn earlier this past weekend. Really good, I'm invested in the story and world, and the combat is really cool, though the difficulty spikes have gotten my ass beat more times then I'd care to admit.

It's feast or famine with me and gaming and right now it's gaming feast time lol (although when there isn't anything at least I've always got Overwatch) right now I am nearing the end of Persona 5 which owns my life at this point, then on deck I have Yakuza 0 (I'm hot for 1980s Japan, sorry lol) then after that I have Nier: Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn...then the FF12 remaster later this year and if Yakuza 0 goes well the remake of the first one later this year as well! Also there is going to be a Persona 5 replay somewhere down the pipeline. I'm also always in a constant state of playing Overwatch, just not very consistently...but I am always dabbling in it lol

I finally finished Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 3. Three years of waiting...it was totally worth it. I really loved the story and how the protagonists were handled. It was such a nice surprise that the main character was a bisexual man this time.  There were so many good and heartbreaking moments, as expected. They really did a good job of creating a story that draws you in. There were so many difficult decisions to make and I never knew if I was making the right one. I only wonder how different the experience would have been if I had played each episode when originally released and without the knowledge that the protagonist is also interested in men...specifically the gorgeous man I already loved.  I was in tears several times throughout the story. It just reminded me of how awful BioWare is with some of its....storytelling and character decisions. Now that I've finally finished this amazing game...I'm thinking of playing through Resident Evil 7 again before going back to play Dragon Age Inquisition's DLC. ...Or I might just play through it all again. I'm already excited about a potential sequel/DLC. Season 3 is next on my playlist! Haven't had the chance to take a crack at it yet - busy at work and when I get home I tend to wind down by... doing the same kind of work I do at the office, but for myself. xD I'm trying to resist the urge to spend all weekend coding for websites like I did last weekend and start TWD instead. Glad to hear it's all still an engaging story with tough choices. But that's generally what I expect from a TellTale title. I...haven't been playing anything really. I'll have months where almost all of my free time is playing video games, then it'll suddenly switch off to months where I don't touch any video games, even though I still keep an eye on series and devs I'm interested in. Usually the dry gaming periods coincide with my muse switching back to "manic" mode, and I'm busy just creating things - drawing, designing, or website coding usually. Sometimes writing. |

So about 3 missions or so into XCOM 2. Really enjoying it but of course my favorite Squadie is the only one who has died so far. Shouldn't have panicked girl.  This is me every round. |

;_; Yooo why is XCOM 2 so broken. I keep hitting glitches, getting a force quit, the load times are crazy, and it is crazy harder then XCOM 1. (The difficulty tho.. I kind of figured that out by the reviews.) The first one is sooo much better but this one isn't terrible? |

Welp, finally started on TWD: New Frontier and got through episode three. Alas, it's too late for me to continue, so I'll have to finish it tomorrow after work. But I will say, lots of feels as per usual and I'll admit I thoroughly enjoyed bashing Badger's skull in. Fuck that guy. |

I started playing Persona 5 today  Because the character Joker looks like a character I write, I named him after said character (Rene Munspell -short for Moonspell). So far it's adorable and fun. This is my first Persona game. |
