To those who have played X-Com, is it difficult to get into? Can I just jump into X-Com 2 or should I try to pick up the older game(s) first?

You can just jump into Xcom 2 (skip out on the alien rulers and Chosen for a first playthrough), although I'd say you ought to play the Enemy Unkown/Enemy Within game. |

You can just jump into Xcom 2 (skip out on the alien rulers and Chosen for a first playthrough), although I'd say you ought to play the Enemy Unkown/Enemy Within game. Thanks! Seen many rave about it, had friends on another site create squads using forum members as the team just like Vy did here. Hilarious reading how the missions panned out, making me tempted to draft up an XCOM team here.  I see that XCOM Enemy Unknown is selling really cheap on eBay, will pick that up first, just to get an understanding of the story and tactics. Crimson regarding stick of truth... Just got the final scene in Fractured But Whole. I love Butters  His line (as best i can remember it), not really a spoiler in terms of plot, but it made me laugh, and i'll put it spoilers for those who want to see it when they play. "Now you see New Kid, you can't stop bad things from happening. Chaos will always win eventually. You tried being a hero, maybe now you'll consider going another path. Because no matter how hard you try, the truth will not change: Your dad will have always... fucked... your mom!"  |

Ark didn't look at the spoilah but, liked for Professor Chaos. My favourite summoning in Stick of Truth is fuckin' hilarious. How good are the Fractured but Whole summons? I heard Morgan Freeman also plays a role in this game, earned another freckle.

I heard Morgan Freeman also plays a role in this game, earned another freckle. I think summons in Stick of Truth were a bit better.  I didn't use them much in Fractured but Whole. Morgan Freeman is in it, he plays a larger role in the 2nd game for sure. |
